Wstęp teoretyczny.
Program NET służy do analizy i projektowania pierścieniowych, zewnętrznych sieci wodociągowych. W programie zastosowano metodę Crossa-Łobaczewa. Straty ciśnienia są obliczane w programie NET ze wzoru Darcy - Weisbacha. Wartość współczynnika oporów liniowych λ jest natomiast obliczana ze wzoru Colebrocka - White'a. Program NET umożliwia rozwiązywanie takich zadań, jak np.: analiza hydrauliczna sieci lub układu wodociągowego, dobór średnic przewodów na wszystkich albo tylko niektórych odcinkach itp. Dobór średnic przewodów następuje metodą przepływów granicznych które określa sam użytkownik programu.
Wyniki.
Obliczenia hydrauliczne dla przyjetych danych z załącznika numer 1, oraz dla uzgodnionych parametrow w charakterystyce danych.

Analiza wyników, wnioski:
W załozynych parametrach projektu, zauważono zbyt małe prędkości przepływów, które sa w większości przypadku mniejsze od 0,5m/s. Pomimo tego w tym wariancie siec działała poprawne, system zapewniał dostawę wymaganej ilości wody do odbiorców, eksploatowany przy akceptowalnej prędkości, zapewniał wymagane ciśnienie u odbiorców, zapewniał pracę sieci w zakresie wymaganego ciśnienia.
W zaprojektowanej przez nas sieci zauważamy bardzo niskie straty ciśnienia, co związane jest z ilością wykonanych przez program iteracji. Straty ciśnienia zależą w głównej mierze od prędkości przepływu wody, a ta natomiast uzależniona jest od rozbiorów węzłowych, które wynikają z liczby mieszkańców miasta.
Zbiornik umieszczono w najwyższym punkcie miasta, tak aby uzyskać grawitacyjny przepływ wody. Niestety nie w każdym punkcie miasta została zapewniona wymagana wysokość ciśnienia. Ciśnienie wzrasta wraz ze spadkiem terenu. W celu uzyskania wymaganego ciśnienia dla każdego węzła należy zwiększyć wysokość usytuowania zbiornika podnosząc go do góry.
Podczas testów sieci, podjęto próbę awarii dla kliku przypadków. Widoczne są straty ciśnienia w porównywalnych do siebie wartościach, przypadki gdy awarii ulegnie przewód przy źródle, na środku oraz przy zbiorniku, gdzie zanotowano nieznacznie większe ciśnienie, z tylko jednym źródłem na sieci.
Dwa źródła powodują zmniejszenie się straty ciśnienia natomiast prędkości stają się mniejsza równomiernie na całej sieci. Przypadki były rozpatrywane na tych samych gałęziach, jak przy jednym źródle.
Awaria źródeł powoduje zwiększenie strat ciśnienia na najbliższych nim węzłach, natomiast prędkość przy nich zwiększyła się, im dalej było od źródeł malała proporcjonalnie.
