RETAIL OUTLETS

Parkridge is preparing construction of retail outlet with area of 12,500 sqm in Żary. Parkridge Retail Poland is trying to obtain a decision concerning the influence on the environment from the construction of a retail outlet in Żary (Lubuskie Voivodship). The investor is planning to build
a complex with an area of 12,500 sqm in the area of Przeładunkowa, Lotników and Broni Pancernej streets. The company is currently trying to obtain a decision regarding the effects of the investment on the environment. ■

PA Sipińscy is preparing design of shopping center with area of app. 15,000 sqm for Hydrobudowa-9 in Poznań. PA Sipińscy Workshop is preparing the design of
a shopping-service center on Gdyńska Street in Poznań. The investor of the enterprise is Hydrobudowa-9,
a company from PBG's group. Works on the documentation should be completed at the turn of April and May of this year.

According to preliminary assumptions, the complex will have an area of approx. 15,000 sqm, which will contain
a grocery delicatessen, a shopping-service passage and two automobile showrooms. Hydrubodowa-9 had initially been planning the construction of a 4-star hotel with 200 rooms on the lot, but it finally backed out of that plan. ■

Promex is preparing construction of shopping center with area of 8,000 sqm in Gdańsk. The Promex Project-Contracting Corporation is supervising architectural preparations for the construction of a sports hypermarket of the French Decathlon chain in Gdańsk (Pomorskie Voivodship). The investment on Szczęśliwa Street will include the construction of an outlet with an area of 8,000 sqm. The enterprise is currently being opinioned with regards to its influence on the environment. The commercial chain is being represented by the Niebieski Dom Company from Krakow. ■

MW Inwestor is preparing construction of shopping center with area of 9,000 sqm in Łódź. MW Inwestor is conducting administrative preparations connected with the construction of a shopping-service center on Błońska Street in Łódź. The outlet (approx. 9,000 sqm) will offer grocery products (approx. 20% of space), non-grocery products and sports accessories. The investor's plenipotentiary is Zbigniew Wiliński from the Marciniak&Witasiak Architekci Workshop. MW Inwestor is tied through the members of its management to Monnari Trade. ■

Wroński Company will build Rental Park gallery with area of 7,200 sqm in Gdańsk. Wojciech Sypniewski,
a representative of the Rental Park developer from Gdańsk, has informed PREM that the Wroński Company from Kiełpin near Kartuzy has been chosen in March as the general contractor of a shopping gallery planned on Przywidzka Street in Gdańsk-Szadółki. Construction works are supposed to be completed in the fourth quarter of next year.

Let us recall that the outlet, called Rental Park, will have a usable area of over 7,200 sqm. The design of the investment was prepared by Jacek Sołtysiak's Arkon Studio Workshop. ■

PA Nova is planning construction of shopping center with area of 6,000 sqm in Stalowa Wola. Preparatory works have begun in recent days in the area of Ofiar Katynia and Komisji Edukacji Narodowej streets in Stalowa Wola (Podkarpackie Voivodship). The developer and general contractor of the complex, with an area of 6,000 sqm and a parking lot for 430 vehicles, is P.A. Nova. Kaufland and Tesco are strategic partners of the company from Gliwice with regards to the realization of investments in Poland. ■

Pantel has prepared concept of shopping gallery in Nidzica with area of 5,300 sqm. The Pantel Studio from Olsztyn has prepared a concept for the development of
a property on Mickiewicza Street in Nidzica (Warmińsko-Mazurskie Voivodship). The enterprise will include the construction of a two-story shopping-service gallery with an area of 5,300 sqm (ground floor - approx. 4,000 sqm and 1,300 sqm on the first floor).

The investor is an entity from Warsaw whose name has not been revealed yet. The concept has already been presented to city authorities, and the tender procedure for the land will be announced within a month. The estimated cost of the construction of the outlet will reach 15 mln PLN. ■

IZR will prepare feasibility study for construction of shopping center in Gostynin worth 15 mln PLN. IZR (Institute for Sustainable Development) has been chosen by the authorities of Gostynin (Mazowieckie Voivodship) in
a tender procedure for the feasibility study of a shopping center on the land of the former PPEB Budopol Gostynin. The enterprise will consist of the adaptation for new functions of two old industrial halls. Construction works on the investment, with an estimated cost of 15 mln PLN, are planned to begin next year. ■

Star City has purchased land for construction of shopping center in Tomaszów Mazowiecki. Several days ago the Star City Company from Poznań purchased approx. 0.3 hectare of land located on Barlickiego Street in Tomaszów Mazowiecki (Łódzkie Voivodship) for over 2.9 mln PLN. Let us recall that we have informed in PREM of the company's preparations for the construction, together with Parkridge, of a shopping complex for approx. 300 mln PLN on the 5 hectares already purchased. The center will have an area of 50,000 sqm and will contain 80 retail outlets and a multi screen cinema with four projection rooms. The schedule of the works assumes obtaining administrative permits for the works this year and commencing construction works next year. ■

Resbud will build shell of development of Full-Market shopping center in Krosno. Resbud has been chosen as the contractor for the shell of the shopping gallery which will be built as part of the development of the Full-Market complex, located in Krosno (Podkarpackie Voivodship), at the junction of Mielczarskiego and Kolejowa streets. As we informed, the following companies: Besta, Karpat-Bud and Integral were also interested in the construction of the
2-story outlet, which will have a lease area of approx. 3,000 sqm. The contract, with a gross value of over 3.4 mln PLN, will be carried out by mid July of this year. ■

Toyota Chodzeń will develop retail-service complex in Piaseczno near Warsaw. Toyota Chodzeń, a Warsaw dealer of the Toyota concern, has begun preparations for the reconstruction of the exhibition-service complex with an area of 3,000 sqm in Piaseczno near Warsaw.

Toyota Chodzeń has so far cooperated with, for example, Agmet as general contractor and Hanna and Daniel Olech's Arte Architectural Studio. ■

Żabka will invest 40 mln PLN this year in development of “Freshmarket” chain of grocery stores. Żabka Polska will spend approx. 40 mln PLN this year on the opening of 40 “Freshmarket” grocery stores. The outlet, which will have areas ranging in size from 250 to 400 sqm, will be located in centers of towns, near large residential complexes. Preliminary plans assume that 90 stores will be operating under the “Freshmarket” name by the end of 2010. ■

PRODUCTION AND WAREHOUSE OUTLETS

Autoliv will develop production complex in Jelcz-Laskowice by 16,000 sqm. Last year the Swedish concern Autoliv completed administrative procedures connected with plans for the development of a complex producing automobile parts in Jelcz-Laskwice (Dolnośląskie Voivodship). The investment will include the construction of a hall with an area of approx. 16,000 sqm, which will produce airbags. The cost of the enterprise is estimated at 50 mln PLN.

The schedule of the works will depend, among other factors, on progress in negotiations concerning the incorporation of the area into the Wałbrzych Special Economic Zone “Invest-Park”. During previous investments in Poland Autoliv cooperated with, for example, Trasko Invest and Bohen. ■

Weyerhaeuser Company is interested in construction of factory on 12 hectares in Tomaszów Maz. The American concern Weyerhaeuser Company, a cooperant of Procter & Gamble, is considering the possibility of building a production complex in Tomaszów Mazowiecki (Łódzkie Voivodship). The investor is interested in approx.
12 hectares of land in the area of Orzeszkowej Street. The possible investment would depend on the incorporation of the property into the Łódź Special Economic Zone. The company is also considering other locations in Poland, preferring properties with railroad sidetracks. ■

Ergon Poland, Baukontrakt and Radko have begun construction of MK Logistic logistics center in Krakow. The Radko Company has commenced ground works at the site of the construction of the MK Logistics center on Półanki Street in Krakow. The enterprise will consist of the construction of a complex of outlets with a total area of 36,000 sqm, including 27,000 sqm for lease. The remaining part will be used by Drukarnia Narodowa. The design of the investment was prepared by Dariusz Perucki from the Archiporta Company. The works are being supervised by MK Logistic. Partial tender procedures have been won by Ergon Poland for preparing and assembling the constructions of the halls and Baukontrakt for the construction of the roof and the walls. The works should be completed in the third quarter of this year. The total cost of the investment will reach approx. 64 mln PLN. ■

Mennica will invest 76 mln PLN in construction of production plant in Warsaw-Żerań. Tadeusz Steckiewicz, chairman of Mennica, has informed that the company he manages is trying to apply for a conditions of development decision for the construction of a production plant in Warsaw-Żerań. The investment designed by Assmann and worth an estimated 50 mln PLN, will be completed within 18 months. According to preliminary assumptions, a factory with an area of approx. 8,000 sqm and an office building would be built on the approx.
1-hectare lot on Trasa Toruńska, near Annopol Street. The outlets will most likely be put to use at the end of 2010. The general contractor has not been chosen yet.

Mennica Metale Szlachetne is also getting ready for the construction of a factory. A plant producing, for example, catalytic gauze for chemical plants, will be built in Radzymin near Warsaw for 26 mln PLN. The outlet, which will have an area of 6,000 sqm, will be put to use in mid next year. Mennica has already begun negotiations with contracting companies. ■

PSB will build logistics center with area of 9,500 sqm in Wełecz near Busko-Zdrój. PSB Group is conducting preparations for the construction of a logistics-warehouse outlet in Wełecz near Busko-Zdrój (Świętokrzyskie Voivodship). The cost of the enterprise is estimated at
20 million PLN. The hall, with an area of 9,500 sqm, will be used for servicing outlets operating as part of the group.

Jadwiga Podraza, investment director of PSB, told us that the architectural workshop which would deal with designing the complex has not been chosen yet. The preliminary schedule of the works assumes the completion of the project this year or early next year. ■

BA Biernacki is preparing construction of factory in Gubin for Tekra. Łukasz Biernacki's Architectural Workshop is supervising preparations for the construction of a factory of the Tekra Company in Gubin (Lubuskie Voivodship). The investment will include the development of approx. 2.8 hectares of land located in the Kostrzyńsko-Słubicka Special Economic Zone. The company will build a plant producing constructions to be used for the construction of industrial machines. The cost of the enterprise will exceed 13 mln PLN. The first works should commence in mid this year. Declared employment will reach a total of approx. 200 people. Tekra is a company created by the German Depa Company. ■

GTL is seeking designer of product terminal with area of 19,300 sqm in Katowice-Pyrzowice. GTL (Upper Silesian Aviation Association) has announced a tender procedure for a concept and project documentation for the construction of a new cargo base at the “Katowice” International Airport in Pyrzowice. The enterprise will be carried out in three stages, which will consist of the construction of a terminal with an area of 7,200 sqm and then the development of this terminal by 9,600 sqm and 2,500 sqm. The modernization of the airport apron (with an area of 23,400 sqm) is also planned. Project works, the value of which is estimated at 2.4 mln PLN gross, are
9 months. ■

Eko-Gwarant will invest 27 mln PLN in plant in Ostrowiec Św. In early March Eko-Gwarant received permission for activity in the sub-zone of the Special Economic Zone in Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski (Świętokrzyskie Voivodship). The company is planning to open a plant recycling waste created in result of the disassembly of vehicles. The schedule assumes that the investment would be commenced in the second quarter of this year and be completed by the fourth quarter of next year. ■

Bamix will build warehouse-production complex for Cityboard Media in Marki near Warsaw. The Bamix Company is the general contractor of a complex of warehouse-production outlets with office facilities in Marki near Warsaw. The enterprise was designed by Wojciech Kornatowski's workshop, and the investor is Cityboard Media. The works will include the construction of
a complex of halls with a total area of over 8,000 sqm on Parkowa Street. ■

OFFICE BUILDINGS

Urbano Inwestycje is planning construction of complex of three 12-story office buildings in Poznań. Urbano Inwestycje has applied to the City Council of Poznań for issuing a conditions of development for the construction of three 12-story outlets in the area of Solidarności Avenue and Witosa Street in Poznań. The enterprise will consist of the construction of B-class office space, a 2-star hotel and apartments. Due to the early stage of the preparations for the project, the planned area of the complex has not been revealed yet.

Urbano Inwestycje is a company that belongs to Krzysztof Brzeski, who has built “Roma Office Center” in cooperation with Warbud and Warsaw and who is preparing the construction of the “Jupiter Plaza” office building in Katowice. ■

ECI is preparing construction of Marsa Park II office complex in Warsaw-Ursus. Marsa Park II Company, which belongs to ECI Group, is conducting preparations for the realization of an investment on Badylarska Street in Warsaw-Ursus. The investor is currently trying to obtain opinions for the enterprise, which would include, for example, the construction of a complex of service, office, hotel and exhibition outlets with underground garages. Representatives of ECI have not confirmed preparations for the investment.

Let us recall that ECI is the investor of Marsa Park, which is being built in the area of Ostrobramska and Okularowa streets in Warsaw. The construction is being carried out in cooperation with Lewant. ■

PSB will build over 30,000-sqm office-hotel complex in Warsaw according to design by Kazimierski i Ryba. PSB Group will build an office-hotel-retail outlet in Warsaw Targówek, in the area of Radzymińska and Bieżuńska streets. The investment, designed by Kazimierski i Ryba, will include the construction of
a 20-story complex with an area of over 30,000 sqm, consisting of a retail-exhibition section for construction materials (approx. 5,400 sqm), an office section (13 stories, 12,800 sqm), a hotel section (4 stories, 92 rooms), conference section) over 1,000 sqm) and an underground garage (11,000 sqm).

The total cost of the enterprise will exceed 176 mln PLN. Jadwiga Podraza, PSB investment director, told us that the company is currently conducting negotiations with potential co-investors. ■

Ciech is preparing construction of office-apartment complex on lot with area of app. 1 hectare in Warsaw. The Ciech Company is getting ready to develop a property in the area of Powązkowska, Elbląska and Krasińskiego streets in Warsaw-Żoliborz. The company is planning to build an office-apartment complex on an almost 1-hectare lot. The investment will be carried out with an outside developer, who will be chosen through negotiations.

Ciech is also preparing the sale of approx. 1.2 hectares of land located on Powązkowska Street in Warsaw for
25 mln PLN. ■

Erbud has submitted PLN 23-mln bid for construction of office building with area of 9,000 sqm in Szczecin. Offers were opened several days ago in a tender for the general contracting of the ZUS (Social Security Office) office building in Szczecin. Erbud has submitted the lowest bid (23.04 mln PLN) for the construction of the outlet on Citroena Street, which will have an area of approx. 9,000 sqm. Other companies trying to acquire the contract are: Ciroko (23.15 mln PLN), Doraco (24 mln PLN), Novum (24.2 mln PLN), Calbud (24.3 mln PLN), Eiffage Budownictwo Mitex (24.6 mln PLN), Wrobis (26.2 mln PLN), Budimex (27.5 mln PLN), Sando (27.7 mln PLN), Warbud (30.48 mln PLN) oraz Skanska (30.55 mln PLN). Works on the construction of the office building, the documentation of which was prepared by Projbud, will take 2 years. ■

Jasiński i Wspólnicy will design Park of Technology in Nowy Sącz with area of approx. 10,000 sqm. Artur Jasiński's workshop has won a tender procedure for the concept of the Park of Technology Multi-Media City in Nowy Sącz. JEMS Architekci won second place and the A4 and PxM Projekt-Południe workshops received honorable mentions. The enterprise, which will cost
118 mln PLN, will consist of the construction of outlets with an area of approx. 10,000 sqm. Further development of the Park is planned in the future and the total cost of the investment is estimated at 120 mln euro. The feasibility study of the enterprise is being prepared by Pricewaterhouse Coopers. ■

Hochtief, Skanska, Mota, Budimex and Mostostal try to acquire contract for construction of airport in Wrocław. Five companies (Hochtief, Skanska, Mota Engil, Budimex and Mostostal Warszawa) have been admitted into the tender procedure for general contracting of the passenger terminal of the International Airport in Wrocław. The value of the construction works on the outlet, the documentation of which was prepared by J.S.K. Architekci, is estimated at 230 mln PLN. ■

University of Silesia is planning construction of teaching complex with area of 38,000 sqm. The Uniiversity of Silesia will soon begin tender procedures connected with the construction of the Inter-University Education and Interdisciplinary Research Center in Chorzów (Śląskie Voivodship) at 75 Pułku Piechoty Street. The first stage of the investment, which should be completed by 2010, will consist of the construction for over 100 mln PLN of outlets with an area of approx. 18,000 sqm. The complex will have a total area of approx. 38,000 sqm. ■

Mostostal Warszawa wants to build outlet with area of 12,200 for approx. 70 mln PLN in Toruń. Mostostal Warszawa has submitted the lowest offer, with a gross price of slightly less than 70 mln PLN, in a tender procedure for the design and construction of Collegium Humanisticum at the Nicolaus Copernicus University, planned between Szosa Okrężna and Lwowska Street in Toruń. Other entities taking part in the tender procedure are: Marbud (over 71.5 mln PLN) and Eiffage Budownictwo Mitex Oddział Poznań (78.5 mln PLN).

As we informed, the investment will consist of the construction of an outlet with an area of 12,200 sqm and
a cubature of over 80,000 meters3, which would be ready by mid 2011. ■

Budimex has submitted offer worth 50 mln PLN for construction of Scientific Information Center in Katowice. Seven bids have been submitted in a tender procedure for the construction of the Scientific Information Center and Academic Library in Katowice. The lowest bid, with
a price of 50.5 mln PLN, was submitted by Budimex Dromex. Other entities taking part in the procedure are: Skanska (56.3 mln PLN), and consortia Polimex Mostosal-Ebud Przemysłówka (52.4 mln PLN), Karmar-Bouygues (60.9 mln PLN), PORR-Budus (57.2 mln PLN),
a consortium led by Mostostal Warszawa (53 mln PLN) and Warbud (67.2 mln PLN).

The enterprise on Bankowa Street will consist of the construction of an outlet with an area of approx. 10,000 sqm. The investment will be supervised by the University of Silesia and the Academy of Economics. The design was prepared by the HS99 workshop from Koszalin. The contract engineer is Bydgoskie Przedsiębiorstwo Obsługi. The planned time of the works is 41 months. ■

Rombud will build 1st stage of Elbląg Park of Technology for over 45 mln PLN. The authorities of Elbląg, after a repeat analysis, have chosen the bid
(45.3 mln PLN) submitted by the Rombud Construction Corporation in a tender procedure for the first stage of the Elbląg Park of Technology.

The DIW Bau-Esbud consortium (46.5 mln PLN), Budimex Dromex (48.6 mln PLN), Warbud (52.9 mln PLN), Pol-Aqua (47.1 mln PLN), Alstal Budownictwo (48.6 mln PLN), Doraco (50 mln PLN), Polimex Mostostal (55 mln PLN), Skanska (48.4 mln PLN)and Przemysłówka Olsztyn are also trying to acquire the contract for the construction of the outlet with an area of almost 6,000 sqm. ■

Medical University is seeking contractor of Center of Medical Biology in Poznań. The deadline for submitting offers with a tender deposit of over 1.6 mln PLN for the general contracting of the Center of Medical Biology in Poznań passes on April 28th. The outlet on Rokietnicka Street, with an area of 4,500 sqm, will be built for the purposes of the Karol Marcinkowski Medical University. Works on the investment, the design of which was prepared by Architektura i Urbanistyka Lewiński, will take 3 years. ■

Marshall's Office of Lubuskie Voivodship is seeking designer for modernization of 8,000-sqm office building. Applications for admission into a tender procedure for the architectural-functional concept of the modernization of the office building of the Marshall's Office in Zielona Góra are being accepted until April 27th. The four-story building with an area of 8,100 sqm and a cubature of 24,400 meters3 is located on Podgórna Street. The deadline for submitting the contest works passes on August 6th. The winner will receive a prize of 20,000 PLN and an invitation for
a single-source procurement procedure for preparing the detailed designs. ■

WORD in Opole is seeking contractor for reconstruction of building with area of 2,300 sqm. The deadline for submitting bids with a tender deposit of 200,000 PLN for the development of the seat of the Voivodship Traffic Center on Oleska Street in Opole passes on April 7th. The design of the outlet, with an area of 2,300 sqm and a cubature of 6,400 meters3, was prepared by the An Archi Group workshop from Gliwice. The investment will be completed within 12 months. ■

PWSZ in Elbląg is seeking designer of teaching outlet with area of 2,700 sqm in Elbląg. The deadline for submitting offers for the modernization design of
a teaching building on Grunwaldzka Street in Elbląg (Warmińsko-Mazurskie Voivodship) and the addition of
a new pavilion with a total area of 2,700 sqm passes on April 7th. The functional concept of the investment was prepared for the Public Vocational College (PWSZ) by WM Pracownia Projektowania Miasto from Gdańsk. ■

PxM will prepare design for the modernization of
a medical outlet in Ostrowiec Św. for 327,000 PLN.
The authorities of Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski have entrusted the PxM Projekt Południe Company with preparing documentation for the reconstruction of the Municipal Occupational Medicine Center. The design of the building on Świętokrzyska Street, which will have an area of 2,500 sqm and a cubature of 22,000 meters3, will be ready by the end of June of this year.

Other entities which tried to acquire the order were Miastoprojekt Lublin (425,000 PLN) and BM Art Projekt (377,000 PLN). The offer of the Armax Company was rejected due to formal reasons. ■

Authorities of Białystok are seeking contractor of school building with area of 7,400 sqm. Offers with
a tender deposit of 200,000 PLN for the construction of an elementary school in the Osiedle Bacieczki residential estate on Komisji Edukacji Narodowej Street in Białystok are being accepted until May 12th. Documentation of the outlet, which will have an area of 7,400 sqm and a cubature of 33,000 meters3, was prepared by the Miastoprojekt Białystok Company. The works are supposed to be completed on August 15, 2010. ■

Authorities of Łomża are seeking designer of cultural-sports center with area of 11,000 sqm. The deadline for accepting offers with a tender deposit of 15,000 PLN for preparing the design of the Łomża Cultural Center on Zawadzka Street passes on April 7th. The complex will consist of a teaching section and an exhibition-sports hall with stands for approx. 3,000 people. The functional concept of the outlet, which will have a total area of approx. 11,000 sqm, was prepared at Wojciech Gwizdak's 2G Architectural Workshop. The project will be completed within 12 months. ■

Grand ZUPH will build office building of Commune Council in Długołęka for 10.9 mln PLN. The authorities of Długołęka (Dolnośląskie Voivodship) have entrusted Andrzej Grygiel's Grand ZUPH Company with a contract worth 10.9 mln PLN gross for the general contracting of
a building of the commune council on Robotnicza Street. The enterprise, designed by the Armageddon workshop from Poznań, will include the construction of a 2-story outlet with a usable area of 2,200 sqm and a cubature of 8,700 meters3. Works on the investment, which are being supervised by Budoprojekt from Wrocław, will take
13 months. ■

GD&K will design modernization of teaching outlet with cubature of 11,200 meters3 in Kielce. The GD&K Consulting workshop from Krakow has won a tender procedure for the modernization design of the building of Elementary School number 7 on Szkolna Street in Kielce. Documentation of the building, with a cubature of 11,200 meters3, will be ready within 3 months. Guard Mariusz Małasiewicz and Emgie Projekt also tried to acquire the contract. The following companies were excluded from the procedure: Adventor Elżbieta Mróz, BM Art Projekt, Portal Włodzimierz Cichoń Project Workshop and Prema Projekt Incest. ■

Authorities of Jastków are seeking contractor of teaching outlet in Tomaszowice with area of 3,100 sqm. The authorities of the commune of Jastków (Lubelskie Voivodship) have announced a tender procedure for the construction of an elementary school with a sports hall in Toomaszowice-Kolonia. The task includes the construction of a 3-story outlet with a total area of 3,100 sqm and
a cubature of 14,000 meters3. Offers with a tender deposit of 30,000 PLN are being accepted until April 14th. The deadline for the project has been set for the end of June of next year. ■

ZUPiW will design teaching building with area of 2,100 sqm in Zamość. Zespół Usług Projektowych
I Wykonawczych (ZUPiW) from Krosno has made the lowest offer, with the price of 183,000 PLN gross, in
a tender for the development of documentation for the extension of the Institute of Mathematics at the Higher Vocational School (WSZ) in Zamość. Other participants of the tender are: Ekobud with the price of 190,000 PLN, Pracownia Kaczyński i Spółka (268,000 PLN), Barysz Point Line (293,000 PLN) and Arch-Bud (305,000 PLN). The investment, situated on Zamojska Street, will comprise the construction of a building with an area of 2,100 sqm. ■

Wilamowice commune authorities seek contractor for extension of school building worth 6.5 million PLN.
9th April is the deadline for submitting offers, along with
a deposit of 150,000 PLN, in a tender for the extension of
a school in Pisarzowice, issued by the authorities of the Wilamowice commune (Śląskie Voivodship). The design of the building, with a cubature of 10,000 meters3, has been prepared by Czechowice based company Inwest-Bud. The works should be finalized by 30th June 2011. ■

HOUSING INVESTMENTS

BP Architel is preparing construction of residential complex with approx. 295 flats in Wrocław. Krzysztof Telesiński from Biuro Projektów Architel is supervising administrative procedures concerning the plans for building the 3rd stage of Blockpol II residential complex on Strzebłowska St. in Wrocław. The investment, financed by the Gant Group, will comprise the construction of three four-story buildings with approx. 295 flats, with 300 parking spaces. Currently, the investment is at the stage of evaluating the construction's influence on the environment by the Wrocław municipality. ■

APA is preparing design of residential building with 17,000 sqm in Warsaw for RSM Praga. In the beginning of March, Robotnicza Spółdzielnia Mieszkaniowa Praga (RSM Praga) housing cooperative obtained permission for the construction of a residential building at the junction of Kamińskiego and Myśliborska streets in Warsaw. The design of the investment, with a usable area of over 17,700 sqm, is being prepared by Michał Sondij from the Autorskie Pracownie Architektury office. ■

Oświęcim based TBS is planning construction of complex with 180 flats. Oświęcim (Małopolskie Voivodship) based Social Building Association (TBS) is preparing the development of 1.4 hectares of land on Zagrodowa Street in the Stare Stawy housing district. The investment will comprise the construction of 3 buildings with approx. 180 flats in total and a total usable area of approx. 8,000 sqm. A tender has currently been issued concerning the development of a concept for the complex and executive design for one building with 40-60 flats (1,800-2,500 sqm). Offers, along with a deposit of 2,000 PLN, are to be submitted by 3rd April. Completion of the contract is to take 3 months. ■

TBS Dombud seeks contractor for residential complex with over 100 flats in Ruda Śląska. Towarzystwo Budownictwa Społecznego Dombud (TBS Dombud) has issued a tender for the construction of a multi-family complex in the area of Kędzierzyńska and Ks. Czempiela streets in Ruda Śląska. The investment, the design of which has been prepared by the Moska i Rachuba office, will comprise the construction of three 6-story buildings with 102 flats in total. Offers, along with a deposit of 50,000 PLN, will be collected until 16th April. Completion of the construction works are to take 12 months. ■

JSM is preparing construction of complex with over 100 flats in Jasło. Jasielska Spółdzielnia Mieszkaniowa (JSM) housing cooperative has purchased, for approx.
1.2 million PLN, a land plot with an area of 2 hectares, situated in the area of Na Kotlinie Street in Jasło (Podkarpackie Voivodship). According to the preliminary concept for the development of the plot, prepared by Jasło based architect Antoni Pikul, JSM is going to build
a complex with approx. 100 flats. The investment will be complemented by the construction of an education-cultural center according to the guidelines prepared by the architect Magdalena Łachańska. ■

Instalbud-Rzeszów build residential complex with area of 12,000 sqm in Warsaw. Instalbud-Rzeszów has won
a tender for general contracting of a residential complex in the area of Naukowa and Popularna streets in Warsaw-Włochy. The investment will comprise the construction of buildings with a total area of nearly 12,000 sqm (out of which 3,600 sqm will be taken up by underground parking lots). Works on the investment, ordered by the district authorities, are to take 3 years. ■

Mirbud will carry out 2nd stage of Walendia residential complex near Nadarzyn for 23.2 million PLN. Mirbud has announced the signing of a contract with Aurum Development concerning the general contracting of the 2nd stage of Walendia residential complex in Walendów near Nadarzyn (Mazowieckie Voivodship). The contract, worth over 23.2 million PLN gross, will comprise the construction of a complex of two- and four-flat houses, along with accompanying infrastructure. The construction works will begin on July 1st of this year and will last until the end of 2011. ■

Condix acquires contract worth 8.5 million PLN for construction of residential building in Złotoryja. The authorities of Złotoryja (Dolnośląskie Voivodship) have hired Tarnów Podgórny based company Condix to erect
a residential building on Szkolna Street for 8.5 million PLN net. The works will also include the development of
a land plot in the area of Szkolna, Chopina, Rynek and Solna streets. Works on the investment will last until the end of this October. ■

Westbud will build residential complex in Bielawa for 6.2 million PLN. Westbud has acquired a contract worth 6.2 million PLN gross concerning the construction of two residential buildings on Żeromskiego St. in Bielawa (Dolnośląskie Voivodship). The investment, being conducted by TBS Bielawa (Bielawa Social Building Association), will comprise the construction of buildings with a total usable area of approx. 2,500 sqm. Documentation of the investment, the completion of which is to take 12 months, has been prepared by Lech Nowak's office Biuro Obsługi Budownictwa Architekt. ■

HOTELS AND ENTERTAINMENT CENTERS

JEMS Architekci will design Marriott hotel with
220 rooms in Warsaw-Okęcie. JEMS Architekci has won the 1st prize of 35,000 PLN in a contest issued by Państwowe Porty Lotnicze (Polish Airports) concerning the development of an architectural concept for a 4-star hotel with an area of 16,000 sqm in the area of the Okęcie airport in Warsaw. The architectural office will take part in negotiations concerning the development of a design for the investment. The hotel with 220 rooms will be operating in the Courtyard by Marriott chain.

Second place was awarded to the Bulanda-Mucha architectural office, and honorable mentions were awarded to the concepts by Maas and Łosiak&Siwiak offices. Construction works on the investment, the cost of which is estimated at 120 million PLN, will begin in the middle of next year and last until the end of 2011. ■

Louvre Hotels interested in building hotel complex in Gdańsk-Letnica. Agnieszka Bartoszewicz-Pietrzak, from the economic policy department at the Gdańsk City Office, said that during this year's MIPIM fair in Cannes, representatives of the French Group Louvre Hotels expressed their continued interest in making investments in this city. Originally, the company was planning the construction of a hotel-conference complex in Dolnych Ogrodów Street.

Due to the current modernization of road infrastructure in the area of Dolnych Ogrodów Street, presently the most likely location for the investment is the area in the Letnica district, in the vicinity of the planned “Baltic Arena” football stadium, which will be built for over 520 million PLN by the consortium established by Alpine Bau and Hydrobudowa Polska. ■

Rado will build hotel in Wola Chorzelowska near Mielec. The company Rado is conducting administrative procedures concerning plans for the construction of a hotel-recreation center in Wola Chorzelowska near Mielec (Podkarpackie Voivodship). The investment will comprise the construction of a hotel with beds for 50 guests, along with recreation and beauty facilities (cosmetics salons, saunas, recreational swimming pool, jacuzzi). ■

ZNMR Kucharski will open hotel with rehabilitation facilities in Biedrusko. Pniew based entrepreneur Jan Kucharski, owner of the company Zakład Naprawczy Mechanizacji Rolnictwa, was the only bidder ina tender, issued by the Gorzów division of the Agency of Military Property (AMW), concerning the sale of a 19th century palace in Biedrusko near Poznań. The asking price for the palace with an area of 2,000 sqm and situated on a land plot with an area of 14 hectares, amounted to 6.5 million PLN. The new owner is planning to open a hotel-conference center in the palace. ■

Ultra Architects will design, for 1.3 million PLN, Active Rehabilitation Park in Bydgoszcz. Poznań based office Ultra Architects has won a tender for designing the European Active Rehabilitation Park on Romanowska St. in Bydgoszcz. The value of the contract, ordered by the Bydgoszcz Oncology Center, will amount to 1.3 million PLN gross. Other participants of the tender were WYG International, BeMM Architekci, MPP Architekci and AEC Polska.

The investment will comprise the construction of
a center with a total area of nearly 10,000 sqm, holding
a complex of swimming pools, doctors' offices, physical therapy rooms and a conference center. Architectural works should be finalized by 23rd July of this year. ■

APA Bułat will design, for 586,000 PLN, concert hall in Koszalin. Jacek Bułat's office Autorska Pracownia Architektoniczna has made the lowest offer, with a price of 586,000 PLN gross, in a tender for the development of documentation for a concert hall at the Koszalin Philharmonics, ordered by the authorities of Koszalin (Zachodniopomorskie Voivodship). 11 companies are taking part in the tender. Preliminary assumptions anticipate the construction of a hall with 500 seats and social and hotel background facilities. Architectural works are to be finalized by 15th December of this year. ■

Erbud makes offer worth 192 million PLN for construction of medical center in Gdańsk. Last week, offers were opened in a tender for the construction of the Invasive Medicine Center at the Medical Academy in Gdańsk, on Smoluchowskiego Street. The lowest offer for the cosntruction of the building with a total area of 54,700 sqm (including 33,900 sqm of usable area) and cubature of 235,000 meters3 has been made by Erbud (192 million PLN). Other candidates for the contract are Grupa 3J (200.5 million PLN), Budimex Dromex (204.9 million PLN), Mostostal Warszawa (217.1 million PLN), Allcon (222.2 million PLN) Warbud (231.6 million PLN), Strabag (249 million PLN) and Pol Aqua (296.6 million PLN). The investment, designed by the offices APA Kuryłowicz and Arch Deco, is being supervised by Pirelli Pekao Real Estate. ■

Alpine, Budimex, Skanska, Ascan and Warbud invited to tender for modernization of Cracovia stadium. Jakub Tabisz, vice-president of the Cracovia sports club, announced that 5 companies (Alpine Bau, Budimex, Skanska, Ascan and Warbud) have been qualified to the 2nd stage of tender for the modernization of a football stadium on Kałuży Street in Krakow. The investment, based on the design by Spanish company Estudio Lamela, anticipates the modernization and extension of the football stadium to hold at least 15,000 spectators. The works on the investment, the cost of which has been estimated at over 150 million PLN, are to take 30 months. ■

Five companies compete for contract for construction of hospital building with area of 6,000 sqm in Warsaw. Budimex-Dromex, Warbud, Polimex-Mostostal, Dorbud and KEM have been qualified to the 2nd stage of tender for the extension of Grochowski Hospital in Grenadierów Street in Warsaw. Other candidates for the contract were Budopol, Anatex, Zab-Bud, Giga and Pol-Aua. Let us recall that the design for the building with an area of over 6,000 sqm has been prepared by Warsaw based office MGK. Completion of the task is to take until 30th November 2010. ■

ARI will design extension of Military Hospital in Szczecin, worth approx. 30 million PLN. Poznań based architectural office ARI has won a contest for a concept for the extension of the 109 Military Hospital on Piotra Skargi Street in Szczecin. The company will be hired to develop detailed designs. The second prize was awarded to Wojciech Dunaj's Szczecin based Grupa Architektoniczna Domino, and honorable mentions awarded to APA Kuryłowicz & Associates, Studio A4 and FAAB. The investment, the cost of which is estimated at approx. 30 million PLN, will comprise the construction of a building which will hold the surgery ward with central sterilization room, as well as anesthesiology, intensive care, and gynecology and obstetrics wards.

Let us recall that modernization of the existing buildings in the complex is to be designed by the Skala office. ■

Zielona Góra district seeks contractor for medical center with area of 5,500 sqm in Sulechów. 16th April is the deadline for submitting offers, along with a deposit of 500,000 PLN, concerning the extension of a hospital on Zwycięstwa Street in Sulechów (Lubuskie Voivodship). The design of the building with an area of 5,500 sqm has been prepared by Wrocław based office Segesta. The investment, worth 25 million PLN, is to be carried out by June 2010. ■

Sadowski, Sadowska will design medical center in Białystok for 1.2 million PLN. Białystok Oncology Center will order a contract worth 1.2 million PLN to Poznań based architectural office Sadowski, Sadowska concerning the development of design documentation for the adaptation of a complex of hospital buildings (approx. 7,500 sqm) on Ogrodowa and Warszawska streets in Białystok. The contract is to be carried out by this September. ■

WSZ is planning construction of surgery ward in Białystok. J. Śniadecki Independent Public Voivodship General Hospital (WSZ) in Białystok is holding a two-stage tender (deposit 23,000 PLN) concerning the development of documentation for the construction of
a surgery ward on Skłodowskiej-Curie Street. Architectural works, for which the voivodship authorities appropriated
1 million PLN, are to be finalized by 21st December of this year. The construction is to begin in the first half of next year, and its cost will amount to a dozen or so million PLN. ■

AK Museum seeks contractor for modernization of building with area of 5,400 sqm in Krakow. The Home Army (Armia Krajowa) Museum in Krakow has issued
a tender for general contracting for modernization and adaptation of a building at 12 Wita Stwosza Street. Offers with a deposit of 500,000 PLN are to be submitted by
8th May. Completion of the investment is to take 24 months. The investment, designed by Katowice based architectural office AIR Jurkowscy, will comprise the construction of a building with a usable area of 5,400 sqm and cubature of 28,600 meters3. ■

Gorgoń architectural office will design hospital building in Sosnowiec for nearly 0.5 million PLN. Katowice based architectural office Gorgoń has acquired a contract worth 487,000 PLN gross concerning the development of design documentation for a hospital pavilion, situated in the area of City Hospital in Sosnowiec (Śląskie Voivodship) at
3 Zegadłowicza Street. The investment comprises the construction of a 3-story building with building development area of 1,200 sqm, clinics, surgery ward and technical premises. Architectural works will take
5 months. ■

Nowogród Bobrzański authorities seek contractor for sports hall with cubature of 14,900 meters3. 21st April is the deadline for submitting offers with a deposit of 100,000 PLN for the construction of a sports-performance hall in Nowogród Bobrzański (Lubuskie Voivodship). The investment, being supervised by the commune authorities, will comprise the construction of a hall with a usable area of 2,100 sqm and cubature of 14,900 meters3. The investment, designed by Andrzej Tatarynowicz from the Print architectural office, is to be finalized by 31st August 2010. ■

Bud Invent makes lowest offer in tender for substitute investor for extension of philharmonics in Częstochowa. Four companies have made offers in a tender for the function of substitute investor for the extension of Częstochowa Philharmonics. The lowest offer, with the value of 498,000 PLN, was made by Warsaw based Bud Invent. Other participants of the tender are Budomex (533,000 PLN), Primex (542,000 PLN) and Miastoprojekt Wrocław (1 million PLN).

Documentation for modernization of the building (5,000 sqm) and realizaiton of a new building with an area of 2,900 sqm has been prepared by Gliwice based company Archiprojekt-Robiprojekt. The investment, worth over 43 million PLN, will receive a subsidy of nearly 37 million PLN from the European Union. Offers for general contracting of the building, with a deposit of 500,000 PLN, will be collected until 4th May. ■

Zamość authorities seek contractor for Center for Film Culture. 15th April is the deadline for submitting offers, along with a deposit of 100,000 PLN, in a tender for general contracting of the Center for Film Art in Zamość. The cost of construction of the building, planned on Odrodzenia Street, is estimated at over 17 million PLN, out of which 6 million PLN will come from European Union funds. The design of the building with an area of 2,100 sqm has been prepared by Łódź based office Plus Art.
A contract for managing the construction, which is to be completed by the end of February 2010, has been ordered to Zamojska Dyrekcja Inwestycji. ■

Rypin authorities seek contractor for sports center for over 32 million PLN. 11th May is the deadline for submitting offers, along with a deposit of 400,000 PLN, for the construction of Rypin Sports-Recreation and Rehabilitation center. The investment, the cost of which will amount to approx. 32 million PLN, will comprise the construction of an aqua park and sports hall by the Unii Europejskiej Schools Complex. The concept of the complex, with an area of over 5,500 sqm and cubature of 42,000 meters3, has been prepared by the Dominiczak&Szczuraszek office. ■

Strzelecki Biuro Architektoniczne makes lowest offer for designing sports center in Warsaw-Wawer. In the past few days, offers were opened in a tender concerning the design of a complex of sports buildings in Warsaw-Wawer, in an area between Patriotów, Rusałki, Przodowników, Ciekawa, Rejowiecka, Macierzanki and Szachowa streets in Miedzeszyn. The investment will include the construction of a sports hall with stands fo 3,500 spectators and a complex of open-air sports grounds.

The lowest offer for the design of the complex (with the price of 366,000 PLN) has been made by Zielona Góra based office Biuro Architektoniczne Strzelecki. Other candidates for the contract are Płaskowicki & Partnerzy (1.34 million PLN), Karpla Konsulting (1.06 million PLN), Woźnicki Zdanowicz Architekci (951,000 PLN), Ekobud (889,000 PLN), Ferma Kresek (828,000 PLN), Sttelier Etta (768,000 PLN), Sawa Tech (671,000 PLN), GID Grzegorz Grewczyński (588,000 PLN), Bemm Architekci (475,000 PLN), Archicon Szczeciusk&Wilczek (427,000 PLN), Ptaszyński-Rubin (420,000 PLN) and Architekt Radosław Guzowski (378,000 PLN). ■

Probud will prepare design for sports center in Warsaw-Mokotów. Warsaw City Office, Mokotów District, has recently announced that a tender for the development of a design for a swimming pool and gymnastics hall on Niegocińska Street was won by Szczecin based company Probud. The cost of the investment is estimated at 16.5 million PLN, and the documentation should be ready by the end of July of next year. ■

National Museum in Krakow seeks project manager for construction of European Center for Polish Numismatics. 6th May is the deadline for submitting offers, along with
a deposit of 15,000 PLN, for the function of substitute investor on the modernization of the historical 19th century Czapskich Palace on Piłsudkiego St. in Krakow for the purposes of the European Center for Polish Numismatics (ECNP). The investor is the National Museum in Krakow, which obtained a subsidy from European Union funds.

The architectural design has been prepared by Pracownia Konserwacji Zabytków Arkona, and the interiors have been designed by Jacek Budyn. ECNP will include an exhibition and research center, library, exhibition hall with multimedia installations, and restaurant facilities. The investment will cost approx. 27 million PLN. ■

Skala will prepare, for 473,000 PLN, functional concept for modernization of medical center in Koszalin. Poznań based architectural office Skala will receive 473,000 PLN for the development of a modernization concept for Mikołaj Kopernik Voivodship Hospital in Koszalin. The plans anticipate modernization of buildings with a total area of approx. 20,000 sqm and construction of a new surgery complex, along with the bed pavilion (approx. 3,200 sqm), situated on a land plot with an area of
7 hectares on Chałubińskiego Street. Other candidates for the contract were Pracownia Projektowania Architektonicznego Sadowski, Miejska Pracownia Projektowa Architekci and Biuro Studiów i Projektów Służby Zdrowia. ■

Chełmża District Hospital seeks contractor for building with area of 2,900 sqm. 10th April is the deadline for submitting offers with a deposit of 200,000 PLN concerning the construction of a new wing at the District Hospital in Chełmża (Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodship) on Szewska Street. The design of the building with an area of 2,900 sqm has been prepared by Grudziądz based Design Construction Studio. The investment, worth approx. 12 million PLN, should be finalized by 31st December 2010. ■

Budrem will build sports hall in Gniewino for
12 million PLN. Roman Rybak's company Budrem has acquired a contract worth 12 million PLN gross concerning the construction of a sports-performance hall in Gniewino (Pomorskie Voivodship). The investment, being conducted by the commune authorities, will comprise the construction of a hall with an area of 1,900 sqm and cubature of over 18,000 meters3. The construction works will last until the end of June 2010. ■

BIL acquires contract for construction of Center for Early Neuroradiology Intervention in Opole. Management of the Św. Jadwiga Voivodship Specialist Neuropsychiatry Center in Opole has hired the company BIL to build, for nearly 7 million PLN, the Center for Early Neuroradiology Intervention, along with an Admission Room, on Wodociągowa St. in Opole. The design of the building with an area of 1,800 sqm and cubature of 7,900 meters3 has been prepared by the Prokon architectural office. The works are to be finalized by 31st August 2010. ■

Kłosowski office will design sports hall with cubature of over 20,000 meters3 in Rychnowy. Człuchów commune authorities have hired Mariusz Kłosowski's Chojnice based architectural office to prepare documentation for a sports-performance hall at the primary school in Rychnowy. The investment will comprise the construction of a hall with an area of approx. 1,700 sqm and cubature of over 20,000 meters3. Architectural works, the value of which amounts to 80,000 PLN, are to be finalized by 31st July. ■

Wybrzeże Theater seeks architect and contractor for modernization of building with area of 1,200 sqm.
25th April is the deadline for submitting offers, along with
a deposit of 150,000 PLN, concerning the development of
a modernization design and contracting of the of “Bałtyk” cinema on Bohaterów Monte Cassino Street in Sopot for the purposes of Kameralny Theater. The design for modernization of the building with an area of 1,200 sqm and cubature of 6,300 meters3 has been prepared at Marek Kleczkowski's Gdynia based office. The investment, worth approx. 7 million PLN, is to be finalized by 31st May 2010. ■

BeMM Architekci will receive 110,000 PLN for designing Żuławy History Park. Warsaw based architectural office BeMM Architekci has been hired by the Nowy Dwór Gdański authorities to prepare design documentation for an adaptation of historical Leonard Krieg's dairy on Kopernika Street for the purposes of the Żuławy History Park. A functional concept for the modernization of buildings with a cubature of 3,000 meters3 has been prepared by Gdańsk based company Inżynieria Budowlana Piotr Jutrowski. The contract is to be carried out by 30th May of this year. ■

OSA will design sports complex in Wronki. Poznań based architectural office OSA has won a tender for the development of a design for a recreation-sports center, planned on a land plot with an area of 6 hectares in Wronki-Olsztynki (Wielkopolskie Voivodship) on Jana Pawła II Street. The value of the contract, ordered by the commune authorities, will amount to 92,000 PLN. The investment will include the construction of a complex of team sports grounds, tennis courts, amphitheater and shopping-service pavilion. Documentation is to be ready by 30th October of this year. ■

INFRASTRUCTURE INVESTMENTS

GDDKiA seeks contractor for S2 road in Warsaw. General Management of National Roads and Motorways (GDDKiA) has issued a tender for the construction of the S2 expressway, which constitutes a section of the Southern Warsaw Ring Road. The tender concerns the construction of the sections: Kontopa junction-Opacz junction-Lotnisko junction. Applications concerning admission to tender (deposit 15 million PLN) are to be submitted by
27th April. ■

Agua Y Estructuras will design Opatów ring road for
5 million PLN. Kielce Division of the General Management of National Roads and Motorways (GDDKiA) has hired the Spanish company Agua
Y Estructuras to develop documentation for the construction of a section of S-74 expressway constituting the southern ring road for Opatów, and a dual carriageway, national fast traffic trunk road No. 9 constituting the western ring road for Opatów. The value of architectural works, which are to take 9 months, will amount to
5 million PLN gross. ■

Kraków airport seeks contractor for apron with area of over 30,000 sqm. Until 6th April, Jana Pawła II International Airport in Krakow-Balice will be collecting offers with a deposit of 1.4 million PLN concerning the modernization of the airport surface. The investment will comprise the construction of the new taxiway and modernization of the apron with a total area of 30,500 sqm. Completion of the contract, the value of which is estimated at 67 million PLN gross, is to take 6 months. ■

GDDKiA seeks contractor for modernization of National Road No. 1. Bydgoszcz Division of the General Management of National Roads and Motorways (GDDKiA) has issued a tender with a deposit of 800,000 PLN concerning the extension of 12.5 km of National Road No. 1 between Toruń and Włocławek. Applications concerning admission to tender are to be submitted by 4th May. The works are to take 1 year. ■

Iława authorities seek contractor for ring road worth 38 million PLN. 4th May is the deadline for submitting offers, along with a deposit of 450,000 PLN, concerning the construction of a northern ring road in Iława (Warmińsko-Mazurskie Voivodship). The works will comprise the construction of 1.5 km of the road between Jana Pawła II and Dąbrowskiego streets, along with
a trestle over Iławski Channel (Kanał Iławski). The works, the value of which is estimated at 38 million PLN, should be finalized by 30th September 2011. ■
