Cut out an orange cirde and tuck it behind one section to create a sunset. Provide students with copies of the sailboat pattern (page 80) to decorate,cut out, and personalize. Frame student papers with colored construction paper and post on the board. Accent the student papers with the decorated sailboats. Create a border for the display using lengths of ropę, raffia, or yellow paper. Add the title"S.O.S.,"coloring the letter "O"to resemble a life preserver.

Dive into summerfun with this underwater adventure bulletin board.Cover the board with blue background paper. Create waves by attaching blue scalloped paper boraer across the top of the display. Attach orange and tan scalloped paper border along the bottom of the board to create an ocean floor. Use lengths of green, twisted crepe paper to make strands of seaweed. Enlarge the diver pattern (page 83) and attach it to the board. Give each child a copy of the fish pattern (pace 79 to color, cut out, and label with her name. Accent the scene by making coral and sea anemone from tissue oaper and cutting starfish from construction paper.
