My favourite scary book is The Mummy by Barbara Steiner. In the story, Lara is very interested in Egypt. When she was working at a museum, she started hearing strange noises.

She thought she heard the Egyptian prince,

Nefra. But Prince Nefra died thousands of years ago...

In my opinion. this is a great book! I read it because I was doing a school project about Egypt. It was really exciting.

Stine. This book is about a boy called Tommy Frazer. When Tommy’s family moved to a new house, he started going to a different school.

One day, Tommy was sitting in the classroom when he heard children crying, but he couldn’t see anyone. Was his new school haunted?

I think that this story is really scary! I read it because my sister gave it to me for my birthday.
