The Florida Keys is a chain of islands qff, Southern Florida in the USA. It śtretches for over 309 km into the Atlantic Ocean.
There are beautiful tropical plants all over the islands. The largest island in the chain is Key Largo, which is 50 km long. Along its east coast lies the John Pennekamp Coral Ręef State Park, which was the first undersea park in the US. The Overseas Highway, the longest over-wdfer road in the US, joins Key Largo to Key West. It is over 200 km long. Key West is the most important island in the chain, and probably the most famous.
It is easy to see why the Keys were the setting for so many romantic films and sonas. Nowadays, fhey provide the pertect location tor holidays, water sports or just relaxing in the sun.
