Materials

The fabric that was used for the Viborg shirt is an extremeiy uniform tabby weave madę of single-thread Z-spun lin en thread. The fabric density is 22/12 threads per cm.² in warp and weft respectively. The weft is approx. 0.33 mm. in thickness while the warp thread is heavier and spun somewhat harder.

The quantity of fabric required isZ.40 m. providing the fabric width is 0.95 m.

The fabric may be woven with a 22/1 lin en thread.

A 50/2 lace-making thread is recommended for sewing. This may be purchased at most embroidery shops.    i.    •
