bbMyfirst migraine was próbably the worst and the weirdest one I have experienced. I was 6 years old and at school at the time it started; at first it was Like a constant duli thudding, then the nausea started (although I wasn't actually sick until I got home], The worst bit came after my mum had come to pick me up. I lost half my visual field, and I could not see the left side of anything, including faces. I also lost my sense of balance particuLarly on the left side of my body; in fad I lost most of the sensation down that side of my body. I could not judge distance or height. Sound was also amplified, and I ended up in hospital for a couple of hours. It took two days to recover from that one.
Nonę of the others have been as spectacular as that one, and used to be associated with PMS (not every month but often enough], Now, however, they happen less often and I can usually tell if one is on the way and catch it before it gets too bad, however this has taken some time and occasionally it's either too late or the situation means I can't do anything about it.
