Notę: Ali outlines are worked in one strand of black 403. Where 2 colours are shown against a symbol, use 1 strand of each colour.
Finishing Instructions:
Iron the Aida band face down on a soft cloth.
Trim the ends to 2 cm.
Fold the top of ihe Aida back to within two stitches of the top of the stitching.
Use a thin knitting needle or something similar to enlarge the hole for the tassel to go through.
Thread a spare piece of stranded cotton through the loop of the tassel and then thread both ends of the cotton through the eye of your needle
Use this to guide the tassel loop through the hole. Fold the comers of the Aida under and iron fiat Fold the bottom end of the Aida under, fold under the corners, and iron fiat.
Position the felt on the back of the band. trim to length if necessary,
and tack down the edges using matching thread.
