REMON/ING THE CABINET PARTS (Rg. 1.1.1)
1. Remove the cabinet and bottom cover by removing the four screws (A) and five screws (B).
2. Remove the front panel by removing the locks of the clamps (C) using a screwdriver, etc. and slightly rotating the bottom part in the direction of the arrow.
Notes: ' Electrical adjustments for the this model can be
perfonmed with only the cabinet removed.
■ When replacing the bottom cover, do not tighten the screws (B) too much. Excess tightness may damage the screws taps on the chassis.
REM0V1NG THE MECHANISM MAIN UNIT
Aft er removing the cabinet parts:
1. Remove the two screws (D), and then remove the bracket.
2. Remove the 6-pin connector from the ACE heads, and the 23-wire fiat cable from the MC-2 PWB.
3. Remove the fiat cable from the cylinder assembly, and the wire of 2 pin connector while spreading out the three clamps (E), then a screw (F),(G) and a screws (H>, and finally the VM-1 PWB assembly. It is not necessary to remove the fiat cables connected between the VM-1 PWB assembly and CP-1 PWB assembly.
4. Remove the mechanism main unit by removing a screws (J) and two screws (K). The two screws (K) at the cassette tray side while pressing the tray lock lever and lid opener lever as shown in the two enlarged view and pushing the cassette tray to the position where the two screws (K) appear.
REMOVING THE CP-1 PWB ASSEMBLY (Rg. 1.1.3) After removing the cabinet parts and the mechanism unit:
1. Remove a red screw(U, then puli out the TM-2 PWB first and TM-1 PWB from the chassis while pressing and spreading out the two clamps(M} and four clamps{N) as shown by the arrows.
2. Remove the two red screws (O). Next, remove the CP-1 PWB assembly by lifting it straight up while pressing and spreading out the two clamps (P) as shown by the arrows.
