Piece of 3/4" dowel, 2 cm long

3/8 threaded rod, 16 threads per inch, 19 cm long

3/8" nut

screw with unthreaded shank and cut it to length.

I used a bali bearing for the primary gear, but that isn't really necessary if your bolt is not threaded along its whole length.

3/8" inner diameter 7/8" outer diameter bali bearing

3/8" bolt, 1.5" long.

You may have to put a washer behind the head, and/or file off the end to keep it from hitting the threaded rod.

The bolt is screwed into an unthreaded 11/32" hole in the vertical track.
