TOWING ATT ACHMEHT Fitttng the wiring harness

To the towing attachment

Pass the end of the harness into the mounting and into the power sooket protector.

Connect the leads in the socket, according to the trailer connections on accordlng to one of the following tablea:

*In DIN standards when the trailer is eąuipped with a rear foglight u3e terminal 2 of the socket for this fonction, if interior lights are not reąuired or, if they are required, terminal 5 or 7, nalng only one light lead to supply both sides of the trailer (oever connect the vehicle^Ts two light leads).

If morę than 7 leads are to be oonnected, fit a second socket next to the flrst one uslng special bracket part no. 77 01 407 677-

Reconnect the battery and test the sooket with a test bulb.

Secure the socket to the towing attachment and finish securing its harness. Refit all the removed parts.
