1.    Otwórz sesję na koncie administratora (root). Korzystając z dowolnego edytora tekstu (np. pico), wczytaj zawartość pliku Xbar.ner z katalogu /usr/XllR6/lib/Xll/app-defaults:

# pico -w /usr/XHR6/lib/Xll/app-defaults/Xbanner

2.    Odszukaj sekcję XBanner. Label, wyglądającą mniej więcej tak:
