FRONT AND REAR WHEELS 13-3

FRONT WHEEL REMOVAL AND REASSEMBLY

FRONT WHEEL REMOVAL

♦    Loosen the axle shaft holder bolts ©.

♦    Remove the axle nut (2).

♦    Loosen the axle shaft holder bolts ®.

♦    Place the motorcycle on a błock to lift front wheel off the ground.

♦    Removethe axle

♦    Remove the front wheel.

FRONT WHEEL REASSEMBLY'

♦    Reassemble the spacer, front Wheel and ax|e śhaft.

*    Tighten the axle nut to-the spęćified torque with the special

tool.

H Axle nut: 35 N m (3.5 kgf-m, 25.5 Ib-ft)

♦    Fit the axle holder and tighten the bolts temporarily.

♦    Remove the błock trom under the chassis tubę and move the front fork up and down several times.

♦    Tighten the axle holder bolts to the specified torque.

H Axle holder bolt: 18 N-m (1.8 kgf-m, 13.0 Ib-ft)

REAR WHEEL REMOVAL AND REASSEMBLY

REAR WHEEL REMOVAL

♦    Remove the axle nut ©.

♦    Loosen the Chain adjuster lock nuts (2) and Chain adjusters (D.

♦    Place the motorcycle on a błock to lift the rear wheel off the ground.

♦    Remove the axle.

♦    Remove the rear wheel.
