CHOOSE the Magnolia stamps you will use to build your scene. ink your stamps with versafine black onyx and stamp on watercolour paper. When it is done, cut out your images. Do the same thing on a piece of usual paper with the Christmas trees images (you will use those ones as masks later on).
INK YOUR images using watercolour inks like distress or Adirondack. Don't be afraid to play with those marvellous colours! You can also add some curtains to the Windows of the house.
WE ARE NOW making our background Take an A4 sheet of white paper and flip it in 2. Stamp Christmas trees on it with black ink. Tear 3 pieces of paper that you will use to make your background, one for the sky and 2 for the path.
Get some distress ink direct from the pad with a cut'n'dry sponge and »>
colour your background, use 2 different shades of blue for the sky and 2 or 3 different shades of brown for the ground. To "protect" your stamped images you will cover them with the mask you madę earlier.
DECIDE WHERE you want your images to pop on your card and mark it with a pen. To get a better effect, choose different depths. In the middle of the flipped paper, cut out stripes 5mm large or morę with a cutter but do not cut the top and the bottom of your stripes (it has to be attached to your paper). The stripes must have equal measurements on both sides. When you've done that, put some double sided tape on those stripes so that you are able to stick your images to them.
