SHUT DOWN CIRCUIT

HORIZONTAL AND YERTICAL SI ZE ADJUSTMENT
Adjust the contro1 (VRJOI) and (YR40I) so that the picture filia the picture froa top to bottoe and ls proportlonate to the width.
RF ABC ADJUSTMENT
The RF AGC oontrol la adjuated at the facto ry and rarely reąuiret re-edjuetnent unlaaa the received picture azhibita too auch snów or tha racaiwar lacka eenaitiwity. Hoea adjuataent can be aede by tuning ln a weak anowy atation and adjusting RF AGC for tha leaat anount of anow. For a aora accnrate adjustnent, uae tha following procedura.
1. Racaiwe tha taat pattern a i gnał [SOdfi).
2. Adjuat AGC pin of IV tuner (IPOli) to 4,7SV with YR201

SUB BRI9HT ADJUSTMENT
1. Racaiwe the slgnal of Honochrone pattern.
2. Set the Brlght IVR005-1) contro1 to niniara poaition and Contra at (V8605-2) contro 1 to neiinua poaition.
3. Adjuat the Sub Brlght (YRI04) control to obtain a din

Adjust focus control on tha flyback trsnsfonaar for a defined picture.
HUE DELAY ADJUSTMENT
1. Racaiwe the signel of DEH pattern.
2. Connect duel oacilloacope to TP601 and IPS02.
4. Adjust vavefora to streight lina with VRA01 and LA03.
AFT ADJUSTMENT
1. Connect the output of the oacillator to tha tuner peck IP.
2, Adjuat L203 to keap conatant DC voltage et TPOOć with AFT ON and AFT OFF.
HORIZONTAL POSITION ADJUSTMENT
1. Receiwe the test pattern signel. (PAL Philipa)
2. Adjuat horizontal picture poaition to center
with YR402. '
COLOR FUR I TY ADJUSTMENT
The receiver nust ba oparated 10 minutas prior to
this procedurę and the face piata of the CRT nust be at
roon tenperature. Tha following procedurę la econaended
whila uaing a Dot/Ber Generator.
L. Chack for correct location of all nack coaiponents.

2. Rough-in the static conwergence at the center of the CRT, as ezplained in the static convergence.
3. Rotata tha contrast control to aaiimn CCW poaition and rotata brightnaaa control aa far CW aa posalbla without cauaing tha picture to "bloosi .
4. Rotata tha Rad <VRS01) and Blua (YRB04) Cut off Controls to aeiiaua CCH poaition. Rotata tha Grean (YRSOS) Cut off control sufflciently in a CW dirsction
5. Loosen the daflaction yoka clamp acrew and puli the deflectioo yoke towerd the rsar of tha CRT,
6. Begin the following adjuataent with the ta ba on the round purity magnet rings set togetber, slowly seperate the two tabs whila at tha aaae tlaa rotating tbaa to adjuat for a unlfora grean etripe at tha center of the CRT tcraen.
7. Cerefully illde tha deflection yoke forward to aehiews grean (unlfora grean acrean).
NOTĘ; Center purity ia obtained by adjuating the tabs on the round purity aagnet rings, outer edge purity i\ obtained by slidlng the daflaction yoka ferwerd,
B. Check for red and blua field purity by reducing the output ęf tha Grean (YRSOS) Cut off control and eltametely increasing output of Red (VR80I) end Bluc (YRS04) Cut off Controls end toueh-up edjuataenta, if raquired.
9. Tighten deflectftn yoke clanp acrew.
BLACK AND WHITE TRACKIMO
The purpose of this procedura is to adjust tha bies applied to the picture tubę to obtain good black and white picture productlon at all brightnass lavels while, at the aane tiae echiawing aaxinua useable brightnass. Proper RF AGC control adjustaent should have been verified prior to performing this procedura.
1. With antenna conneeted to the reeeiwer, go to a channel with strong recaption. Adjuat the fine tuning control so that the receiver will not produce a color picture while tha following adjustnent ara being
2. Rad (YRS02) and Blua (YRSOS) Driva control fullay CV and than back CCW to tha center of their rotation rangaa.
3. Rotata tha Grean (YRSOS), Rad (YRS01) and Blua (YRS04) Cut off Controls to the fully CCW and of their rotation ranges.
4. Set normel-serwice switch to serwice position. Adjust the voltage of test point (collector of green output translator on CRT PCB) to DC130Y with brightnea* control. Voltage naasurement should be measured with an oacilloacope.
5. Rotata the acrean control to the fully CCW and of ita rotation ranga. Then, rotata it CW until a dla lina of ona pronouncad color (grean, red or blua) ia obtained.
6. Ihe other two color Cut off Controls sust be rotated CU until a din white linę is obtained.
7. Set normel-serwice switch to nornel position.
B. If reauired, perfons toueh-up adjustnent of tha Rad (YRS02) and Blua (YRSOS) Drive Controls to produce a unlfora nonochroma picture.
9. Rotete the brightnass and contrast control* fully CCW.
10. Rotata the brightnass control CV until a dla raster is obtained.
11. If the acreen does not display with uniforaity, staps 2 through 10 of this procedura nust be repeated.
STATIC CONYEROENCE ADJUSTMENT
1. Switch tha Racaiver ON and ellow it to want up for 15 ainutaa.
2. Connect the output of a Croisbatch Generator to the reeeiwer ind concentrating on the center of the CRT acreen. proceed as foliowe:
t. Locate t peir of 4 pole aegnet rings. Rotata indiwiduel rings jchange specing between tabs) to converge the wertical red and blue llnes. Rotate a pair of ring* (aaintalning specing betwe*n Ub») to conwerge the horizontal red end blue lines.
DYNAMIC CONYEROENCE ADJUSTMENT
1. Switch the Receiver ON and allow it to wara up for 15 niruites.
2. Apply crosshatch pattern frpm Dot/Bar Generator to reeeiwer. Obserwe specing between lines eround edges of CRT ecreen.
3. Tilt the deflection yoke up or down. end insert tilt
lllustreted in Fig. 2 (A) bas been correct*!.
4. Tilt tbe deflection yoke right and left, end insert tilt adjustnent wedge (3) between the deflection yoke end tha CRT until the inproper conwergence lllustreted in Flfl, 2 (B) has been corrected.
5. Altemately cbange specing between, and depth of insertlon of the three wedges proper dynaaic convergence is obtained.
6. Use a strong adhesiwe tape to firaly secure each of the three wedges to tbe iunnel of the CRI,
7. Check purity end adjust, If necesssry.

Inatall AGC VR to pravant saturation in mvefora, then adjust AGC VR for propar sita of wavefora. On tha otbar hand, in casa IF AGC voltage is supplied artartially, adiist for propar size of vaveforn on condition that IF AGC uoltage ia ulthin LOV and ls gradually decreasad.
2. Adhst L204 to obtain naxiBua amplituda of rasponse eurva at 38.9 HHz.

3. Ra-connact hot laad of SWEEP-HARKER GENERATOR OUTPUT cabla froa IP001 to IV tuner-TP.(With 2.7K oba rasistor)
4. Re-Connect SWEEP-HARKER GENERAIOR INPUT cable froa IPOol to IP012. (PROBE A)
5. Adjust LM7 to obtain aaiiaua aaplituda of responsa curva at 32.4 HHz. (Rsfar to Raaponaa Cum "B")
6. Connact a 100 oba rasistor between TP009 and TP010. Re-Connact SWEEP-HARKER GENERATOR INPUI cable froa IP012 to IP007. [PROBE B)
7. Adjust L2M sbtain aaaiaua aaplituda of responsa cum. {Rstar to Ratponsa Curvs "C")
8. Disconnect tha 10K oha varlable rasistor and 100 oba rasistor froa tbe Circuit.
Disconnect 0006, C217 and C218. [solder bridgel
9. Re-Connact SWEEP-HARKER GENERATOR INPUI cabla froa TP007 to IP006. (PROBE B)
10. Set tha AH sw to ON position
LI. Adjust L20S to plsce 38.9 HHz Barier at refarenca lina on raaponaa curve.
12. Ra-connect C006, C217 and C218. {solder bridge)
