BRUCE TEGNER has spent his entire life in the study, teaching and researching of the un-armed Arts for sport and self-defense. Both his parents were Black Belt instructors in Judo, and began his serious train-ing when he was two years old! Under the supervision of high-degree teachers from Japan and Europę, he studied all the popular forms of the un-armed Arts. Under the tutelage of Professor Kuwashima, Mr. Tegner was the youngcst Second Degree Black Belt on record in this country when he was seventeen. From that time to the present, he has devoted himself to teaching and writing.
