102 Shoe with buckle-and-strap fastening (late 14th-century). Two-part construction. There are diagonal edge/flesh butt seams on both sides of the foot. A narrow reinforcement cord has been sewn in place along the edges of the throat, straps and top of the quarters by means of a shallow binding-stitch.
The strap was attached to the vamp wing with a narrow, closely-stitched edge/flesh butt seam. To retain the buckie the strap was folded back around the bar and stitched down; a slit was madę for the pin.
The two-piece sole has been seamed at the waist with an edge/flesh butt seam. Scalę 1:3.
