accompanied single burials of people of unidentified scx, including an adult al the jge of Aduhus (grave 304). an adult (grave 484) and at the age of Iwenh/Adultus
|j»489). They were also found in a double grave - of a man at the age of Adul-■d a child at the age of Infans 1 (grave 318). The necklace discovered in that ecomuined 7 amber beads (an attribute for a man?).
Beads of type II (Fig. 3: 5-6) were discovered in 4 graves (318. 381,489, ;4i, 58(59?) items in total. They are smaller than type I, morę delicate and refer i th Iheir shapc to rings. Their surfaces are smooth, dark-blue or even navy-blue. hę surfaces of a few beads are also damaged and some bear traces of secondaiy -ummg. The undecorated specimens dominate (43 items). a few. however. have wy grooves left after the decoration which was there before (15-16 iiems). Othougb the beads of that type seem to be similar to each other. almost each >f them is madę differently, especially referring to their sizes. They are 0.25-50 cm in diameter. 0.10-0.20 cm high, and the holes diameters are from 0.10 9 0.30 cm. The discussed type of the beads occurred in the graves mentioned ibove, i.e. the double grave of a man and a child (grave 318 with type I beads) and •i person at the age of Iuvenis/Adultus (grave 489 with type I beads). Apart from dnt, they accompanied an adult person (grave 381, a man?) together with one imber bead, and they occurred in grave 529, however, we do not have the results ' anthropological analyses of that grave yet.
Beads of type III (Fig. 3: 7-8) occurred in the number of 39 exemplars and .Te | part of the grave goods found in 4 graves (290, 381, 479. 529). It seems palbie, that the beads from grave 529 belong to some other type (type II?) or vanation (darkcr. with light-brown colour). The beads are very smali, ring-shaped and yellow (white at the moment of their discovery). There are no decorated spc-cimens among them. They are 0.30-0.40 cm in diameter. 0.10-0.25 cm high ud the holes’ diameters are 0.15-0.25 cm. The beads from grave 529 are closer to fluen-globular forms, but their dimcnsions refer to those given for type III la pWBhres. i.e. of a woman at the age of Adultus (gravc 290) and a child at the age o! Infans Ulnfans II (grave 479), the nccklaces madę enlirely of type III beads oc-swred. In gravc 529 (no anthropological data available) and grave 381 containing w adult person’s burial, they were accompanied by type II beads, and in the last "rasre there was an amber bead.
Beads of type IV (Fig. 3: 9; Fig. 4: 1-4) were found only in grace 489. 27 wempliis in total (Fig. 1: B). Those specimens hacc a shapc of a morę or less "aitcned spherc and a few of them refer to ring-shaped forms. Ali of them are big,
