The production of pottery for everyday use Is documented morę completely within the assemblage. Basic forma are repeated within indhrfdual categoriea, and some specific types have been distinguished which appear to be assodated with particuiar technologies.

The chronological classification of pottery finds remains a dtfficult problem. Although all pottery fragments within the assemblage were stratified, the fact that the features were acddentaly sampled has to be also considered. The only dedsive guide can be the repeated occurrence of certam forms or types of pottery in larga quantities within settlement features. dassified according to the strabgraphy of particuiar horizons. The absence of a particuiar form or type has to be considered very carefully, sińce it may be accidentai.
