1.1. How do exams make you feel? Do you think that exams are necessary or should they be abolis Would you support a movement for the abolition of exams at school? Why? Why not?
Some young people are often struck down by the stress of examinations. 1 must admit that like most pe I know I am not particularly enthusiastic about tests and exams. No matter how long I revise and study fo exam, always feel anxious and tense before it starts. Usually the moment I see the ąuestions or problems: solved I calm down a bit but soon I start woriying that I will not manage to write everything I know bec. there is not enough time. This means stress again. I defmitely prefer orał exams to written ones. It is per because I find it much easier to speak than to write.
No, I don't think that exams should be entirely abolished because I have no idea how else students cou checked on their progress. I believe students can benefit from being tested because when they see the rei they can draw conclusions concerning their further study. What I would certainly support and campaign : introducing some changes into the format of exams. Assessment cannot be based on written tests only, happens in many schools. There should be morę orał examinations to give a chance to those students wh> a bit slow in writing. And, above all, there should be morę projects because when doing a project students to be creative and apply the knowledge they have rather than quote the information they can recall.
