To clean your toilet, use one part baking soda to four parts vinegar. Sprinkle baking soda into the bowl, then squirt with vinegar. Let it sit 15-30 minutes before scrubbing and flushing through. Cleans and deodorizes.
For removing a stubborn stain, like toilet bowl ring, mix enough borax and lemon juice into a pastę to cover the ring. Flush toilet to wet the sides. then rub on pastę. Let sit for 2 hours and scrub thoroughly. For less stubborn toilet bowl rings, sprinkle baking soda around the rim and scrub with a toilet brush.
Denture tablets are an excellent substitute for toilet cleaner. Drop two tablets into the bowl and clean as you would with toilet cleaner.
To sanitize and clean a toilet with a ring, spray the area down first with your homemade natural disinfectant. flush the toilet, wear gloves and scrub out the ring with a pumice stone. Use a cheap pumice (one that falls apart easily). Clean the area near the top of the bowl using a sponge with a scrubbie on one side. Then flush the mess away. Spray the area undemeath and behind the seat and wipe it clean. Then wipe down the area near the floor, then the flush handle and finally wipe down and around the top and sides of the toilet.
To clean and disinfect the toilet rim. put straight 5 per cent solution of vinegar in a squirt bottle and use it to clean the rim of the toilet.

Get the grime and caked-on toothpaste drippings out of the grooves by cleaning with a cloth moistened with white distilled vinegar.

Clean and disinfect by wiping with a cloth dipped in white distilled vinegar.
