SIZE: 14 1/2" in diameter.

MATERIALS: Crochet cotton no. 10, white, about 250 yds. Steel crochet hook US size 7 or SIZE FOR GAUGE.

fflUGE: Rnds 1-2=1 3/8” in diameter. To obtain mat meas-uring ca. 10 1/4" in diameter, we recommend using crochet cotton no. 40 and Steel crochet hook US size 13.

TO MAKE: Ch 8 and join to form ring. RND 1 : In ring work * 1 dc (First dc = 3 ch throughout), 3 ch. rep from * 7 times morę; close with sl st on all rnds except on rnd 11, where last 3 ch sts = 1 dc in top of first popcorn <pc>, and on next 4 rnds, where last 4 ch sts = 1 tr in closing dc or in top of first pc. RNDS 2-3 : Work following diagram. RND 4: Ch 1, work 11 sc in each ch Ip around. RND 5 : Beg in same sp as closing s) st, work (5-dc pc in same st, 1 sc in each of next 21 sts) around. RND 6 : I sl st in each of next 2 sts to beg rnd in 2nd sc of rnd 5, work (5-dc pc in sc, 1 sc in each of next 17 sc, 5-dc pc in next sc, 5 ch, sk first sc of next sc grp) 4 limes. RND 7 : 1 sl st in each of next 2 sts, work (5-dc pc, 13 sc. 5-dc pc, 6 ch. 1 sc in next ch-5 Ip, 6 ch. sk first sc of next sc grp. RNDS 8-24: Work following diagram.
