Base md, each side: Multiple of 4 + 1 + corner sts.

Beginl sttD leftof comer sL

Rnd 1: Ch 1, sc in each st around, placing 3 sc in each comer st, join with slip stto first sc.

Rnd 2: Ch4 (counts as dc and ch-1), skip 1 st *[dc in next st, ch 1, skip 1 st] to corner st (dc, ch 1) three times in corner st skip 1 st rep from * around, join with slip stto 3rd chof ch-4.

Rnd 3: Ch 1, sc in each dc and ch-1 space around, placing 3 sc in each comer st, join with slip stto tiret sc. Fastenoff.

LOBSTER CORD

Ch 2, sc in 2nd chfrom hook. *Tum ctockwise. Insert hook under vertical double strand at left side of piece, yarn over and puli up a toop, yam over and puli through 2 bops on hook to complete sc. Repeat from * until cord is long enough to weave through holes in border. Fastenoff.

Weave cord through border. Sew ends together on wrong side.
