G.6 Descrlptfon of the adjustment

The adjustment shall be carried out for the semidrcular and quadrantal deylatlons due to

a)    the horizontal components of the ship’s permanent magnetism;

b)    heefing error;

c)    the horizontal component of the induced horizontal magnetism; and

d)    the horizontal component of the induced vertical magnetism using profitable devices respectiveły

G.7 Deyfatfon table or curve

Each magnetic compass is property adjusted and its table or curve of reskłual deviations shall be avaitable on board in the vidnity of the display unit of the compass at all times.
