Stringing a striking necklace is a cinch with the unusual placement of
graduated rondelles. I strung these lepidolite jasper beads in reverse
order so the biggest beads are at each side of the necklace, tapering
down to the dramatic, intricate pendant. When combined with
saucer-shaped spacers, the effect is stunning.
Supplies
necklace 181D 2 in. (47 cm)
Ć% 45 55 mm pendant with bail

Ć% 16-in. (41 cm) strand 11 17 mm
graduated faceted rondelles
Cut a piece of beading wire On each end, string four of the ($20 24)
1(Basics). Center a pendant. On 2smallest rondelles and a slightly Ć% 2 6 mm round spacers
each end, string a 6 mm spacer larger rondelle. Ć% 16 5 mm saucer spacers
and a 5 mm spacer. Ć% 2 4 mm flat spacers
