In this trick, you will put an object into a box, and, with a wave of your
magic wand, remove a completely different object!
Instructions
1. Print the box lids on card stock. Set this page aside so that it will dry
completely.
2. Print the art for the front of the box and secret wall on card stock.
Allow to dry completely.
3. Now it's time to print on the other side. Place the previously printed
page in the printer tray, with the art facing up. Now print the art for the
back of the box and secret wall. Allow to dry completely.
NOTE: If you do not own an HP DeskJet printer, you may wish to
consult your manual for two-sided printing instructions.
4. Print the art for the back of the box and secret wall. Allow to dry
completely.
5. Cut out the lids, box and secret wall along the guidelines. Be sure to
cut the box and secret wall from the front side so that you trim off
some of the solid black on the back. For the lids, snip out the dashed
lines as indicated to create the lids assembly tabs.
6. Fold the lids along the guides, applying glue to the tabs and fastening
them on the inside of the lid.
7. Fold the box along the guides, applying glue where indicated to hold
the box together.
8. Fold the white ends of the secret wall, apply glue where indicated
and affix the wall diagonally inside the box.

Performing the trick
1. Before your performance, place an object inside one end of the box
and put on one of the lids.
2. Show the audience the inside of your magic box so that they can see
that it is "empty." (Of course, the other object is in the compartment
on the other side of the secret wall.)
3. Put the other, diffferent, object in the box and put on the lid. Explain
that your magic box will mysteriously change the object into
something different. Place the box upright on a table, deftly turning it
onto its other end.
4. Wave your magic wand over the box, open the lid, and remove the
object (the one that you put in before the show) from the box. Show
your audience the empty box again and take a bow!
