The competition is open to all undergraduate students (BA studies) and graduate students (MA studies) registered during the 2019-2020 academic year in English Philology.
You may submit your work within one of the generał categories: short fiction, non-fiction, drama and poetry, as well as song lyrics. You may enter one work in each category.
There is no themed category for submissions.
The text must be in English.
Each entry must reflect the contestant's own work and original writing.
Entries must be unpublished.
Manuscripts (in PDF format) should be sent via email to filang@kul.pl.
To ensure peer review of your work, your name must not appear anywhere on the document; however, the title of the work must appear on each page of the manuscript.
Along with the text you should enclose a separate file with your name, email address and year of studies.
The deadline is May 8th- 2020.
The jury consists of Competition Coordinator, dr Łukasz Borowiec, and dr hab. Urszula Niewiadomska-Flis, )ury member.
All competition participants will be notified by email about the results.
The official acknowledgement of the winner will also be posted on FA webpage.
Winning entries will receive a prize (in the form of a book) from English Philology.
