Author: Paresh Gujar Date: 03/10/2003 *********************************************************************** Please Do the following steps before running the Scripts: 1)Copy Files from Folder ..\TestScripts to C:\MSS folder on the machine on which you run the Scripts. (All the Clients) 2)Go to DC machine. Go to Active Directory Users and Computers. Create an OU - MSSTEST Inside this OU Create two OUS - MSSAdmin and MSSUser In MSSADmin OU - Add some Users and give them administrator rights. (should be domain admins) e.g mssblueadmin1 , mssblueadmin2, mssblueadmin3 In MSSUser OU - Add some Users (should be domain Users) e.g mssblueuser1, mssblueuser2, mssblueuser3 3)Go to Config.ini file and Change the name of USER and ADMIN. e.g: USER:mssblueuser1 ADMIN:mssblueadmin1 This should match with the users and admins that you have created. 4)Configure a printer on your client machines. Go to config.ini file and change the following PRINTERSHARE:\\Name of Printer Server\Name of the share e.g. PRINTERSHARE:\\3-MSS-PRN-1\Test 5)Create a Share Folder on your File Server. say "PublicShare" Go to config.ini file and change the following SHARE2:\\Name of File Server\Name of Share folder e.g. SHARE2:\\3-MSS-File-01\Share 6)Next time When you run the Scripts do the following Go to Config file and change the PASSWORD, NEWPASSWORD, ADMINPASSWORD and ADMINNEWPASSWORD. e.g First time when I run the Scripts, PASSWORD was Infy123+ and NEWPASSWORD was Micro123 Now When I run the Scripts I change PASSWORD to Micro123 (as this is the password for the user) and NEWPASSWORD to Excel123. 7)Go to Config file and change the following: CLIENTNAME:Name of the Client on which you want to execute the Scripts. e.g CLIENTNAME:TC-XP-01 8)Scripts doesn't work for Windows 98 and Windows NT clients. 9)Feel Free to add more test cases to make the testing more destructive.
