THE PRINCIPLES OF FUNCTIONING AND THE TASKS OF THE POLICE AVIATION

Summary

In the article the short historie draft of the Police aviation, its organizational structure, the principles of functioning and tasks is submitted. Described are the possibilities of uti-lization, operating tasks and the adaptation degree of the expIoited types of helicopters to the realization of air of po-lice tasks is defined, utilizing the experts method. Moreover, all types of helicopters used in the police aviation service are characterized, the helicopters of selected States organized in PACE union are submitted and considerations are drawn relating to the purchase of a new type of helicopter for the Police.
