Dear reader,
The lack of sufficient and independent information about when and how to renovate is often quoted as the biggest barrier to renovating our building stock. A new BPIE paper on building renovation passports suggests a way to overcome this problem and provides food for thought related to the upcoming Energy Efficiency/Winter Package. And as the buildings community is eagerly awaiting the Commission's proposal, other new papers and project results focus on practical Solutions to stimulate the renovation market and to increase investments in buildings.
