HYDRO-POWER PLANT 'PMA' - TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS

HPP 'Piva', with the installed capacity of 360 MVA, has been operating sińce 1976. Average annual generation is 860 GWh. The power plant has a concrete arc dam, one of the highest in Europę, 220 meters high. The arc length at the top of the dam is 268.8 m, or 40 m at the level of the bed. The plant is located underground.
