THE OCCURENCE CONDITIONS OF INCREASE OF D.C. COMPONENT OF A SHORT -- CURRENT DUE TO NON-SIMULTANEOUS FAULTS
S u m m a r y
The artlcle examines a non-slmultaneous three-and twophase short clr-cults. This phenomenon may lead to a considerable increase of the peak currents compared wlth a slmultaneous faults. The Increase Is descrlbed as a functlon of the essentlal parameters (fault-seąuence, ratlo R1/X^,
Current zeros will be delayed If the inltlal value of the d#c« component of a short-clrcult Is larger than the Inltlal value of the a.c. component and/or lt the a.c# component.
There Is howewer the ąuestlon of such heavy case should be taken lnto account ln the practlcal electrlcal eąulpment structures design. Accordlng to the standards valid at present ln many countrles the design electrlcal
oąulpment to be calculated baslng on maximum peak value of the fault current neglecting the phenomenon of non-slmultaneous faults.
