Strategia Rozwoju Politechniki Świętokrzyskiej wskazuje kierunki rozwoju Uczelni na lata 2015-2025 w najważniejszych obszarach jej działalności. Zostały one wyznaczone w aspekcie wyzwań otoczenia zewnętrznego, z jakimi powinna zmierzyć się Uczelnia oraz w aspekcie możliwości i uwarunkowań wewnętrznych.

Podstawą formułowania Strategii były akty prawne, wyznaczające ramy funkcjonowania uczelni wyższej oraz zgromadzone dokumenty, materiały zewnętrzne i wewnętrzne, dotyczące uwarunkowań i kierunków rozwoju Politechniki Świętokrzyskiej.

Zmieniająca się rzeczywistość funkcjonowania uczelni wyższych, uwarunkowania rynkowe, społeczne oraz prawne, skłoniły Władze Politechniki Świętokrzyskiej do doskonalenia systemu zarządzania, przyjęcia strategii umożliwiającej realizację podstawowych celów rozwojowych oraz skutecznego dostosowywania się do zmian w otoczeniu.

Diagnoza stanu Politechniki Świętokrzyskiej i jej otoczenia, wieloletnie doświadczenia akademickie oraz dbałość o przestrzeganie nadrzędnych wartości nasuwają kilka wiodących kierunków myślenia strategicznego o przyszłości Uczelni.

Najważniejsze założenia Strategii Rozwoju Uczelni na lata 2015-2025 dotyczą:

•    utrzymania liczby studentów na poziomie odpowiadającym potencjałowi dydaktycznemu Politechniki Świętokrzyskiej i potrzebom rynku pracy,

•    intensyfikacji działań rozwojowych w obszarze nauki i badań, wynikających z realizacji projektów współfinansowanych przez Unię Europejską,

•    wzmacniania pozycji konkurencyjnej w europejskiej przestrzeni szkolnictwa wyższego w obszarach: kształcenia, nauki, badań,

The Development Strategy of the Kielce University of Technology defines the directions for the development of the University in the key areas of activity during the years 2015-2025. These have been determined in the context of challenges to face, posed by the external em/ironment, and in the context of the University's potential and internal conditions.

The Strategy was developed on the basis of legał acts providing the framework for the functioning of a higher education institution and other relevant documents, including in-house and external data sources, pertaining to the conditions and directions for the development of the Kielce University of Technology.

The evolving reality of the functioning of the higher education sector together with the market, social and legał conditions has led the authorities of the Kielce University of Technology to improve its management system, adopt a strategy that helps achieve the development goals and effectively adapt to changes in the environment.

The analysis of the condition of the Kielce University of Technology and its environment, long experience in the higher education sector and the emphasis on observing the overarching values have helped determine the main directions for strategie thinking about the University's futurę.

The major goals of the University's Development Strategy for the years 2015-2025 include:

•    maintaining the number of students at a level corresponding to the teaching potential of the Kielce University of Technology and the needs of the labour market,

•    enhancing the development activities in the area of science and research resulting from the implementation of the projectsco-financed by the European Union,

•    inereasing the competitiveness of the University in the European higher education space in the areas of education, science and research,
