AGREEMENT¹ BETWEEN THE ORGANISATION FOR ECONOMIC CO-OPERATION AND DEVELOPMENT AND THE GOVE RNMENT OF NEW ZE ALAN D CON-CERNING THE PARTICIPATION OF NEW ZE AL AND IN THE WORK OF THE ORGANISATION IN THE FIELD OF AGRICULTURE

The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (herein-after referred to as the “ Organisation ”), on the one band, and The Government of New Zealand, on the other hand,

With a view to ensuring the participation of New Zealand in the work of the Organisation in the field of agriculture,

Having appointed the undersigned representatives who, being duły authorized to that eflect,

Have agreed as follows :

Articie 1

The Government of New Zealand shall take part on the same basis as Member countries of the Organisation in the activities of the Committee for Agriculture and its Working Parties, including joint Working Parties set up between the Committee for Agriculture and another Committee of the Organisation.

The provisions of this articie shall apply to the meetings of the Committee for Agriculture held at Ministerial level.

Articie 2

The Government of New Zealand shall be entitled to send an observer to the meetings of the Council whenever matters relating to the work of the Committee for Agriculture are considered.

The agenda and documents relating to such matters shall be communicated to the Government of New Zealand.
