No. 3204. — AGREEMENT ¹ CONCERNING THE EXCHANGE OF POSTAŁ PARCELS BETWEEN ITALY AND PALESTINE. SIGNED AT JERUSALEM, NOVEMBER 19, 1931, AND AT ROMĘ, DECEMBER 6, i93i-

French official text communicated by the Italian Minister for Foreign Affairs. The registration of this Agreement took place June 26, 1933.

In order to establish a direct exchange of postał parcels between Palestine and Italy the undersigned have by joint agreement and subject to approval by the competent higher authority decided on the following Agreement :

Article I.

Limits of Weight and Size.

1.    The Postał Administrations of Palestine and Italy agree to effect a regular direct exchange of postał parcełs. The maximum weight is fixed at ten kg. with the following categories of weight:

Parcels for Palestine :

(i)    Up to 1 kg.

(ii)    Exceeding    1    kg.    but    not    exceeding    3    kg.

(iii)    Exceeding    3    kg.    but    not    exceeding    5    kg.

(iv)    Exceeding    5    kg.    but    not    exceeding    10    kg.

Parcels for Italy :

(i)    Up to 1 kg.

(ii)    Exceeding    1    kg.    but    not    exceeding    5    kg.

(iii)    Exceeding    5    kg.    but    not    exceeding    10    kg.

2. No parcel shall exceed 1.05 m. in length and 55 cubic decimetres in volum,e.

3. As regards the exact calculation of the weight and dimensions of a parcel, the view of the despatching Office shall be accepted, except in a case of obvious error.

Article II.

Transit of Parcels.

The Administrations of Palestine and Italy guarantee the right of transit for parcels over their territory to or from other countries. They shall despatch them, by the routes and the means
