Charakterystyki statyczne silnika pierścieniowego dwustronnie zasilanego
Abstract
The paper presents a mathematical model of an induction slip-ring motor formed under typical assumptions, which is supplied from a stator as well as a rotor side - the so called doubly fed motor (DFM). This model has been used to prepare an algorithm for computations of steady-state curves of the DFM. Ali exemplary characteristics have been computed for a smali 1,1 kW, 1385 rev/min motor. Two groups of curves are presented: the first one giving the currents, power, efficiency, etc. of DFM as the rotor voltage function for the constant torque of the motor. The second group of curves, called extemal characteristics, present the currents, power, efficiency, etc. as the function of the load torque. This group of curves has been compared with the characteristics of the same motor with shorted rings.
It is shown in the paper that if the DFM works with various velocities and load, the rotor voltage should be matched so that the steady operation in fuli rangę is possible with the advantageous efficiency, power factor, etc. Employing the minimum losses criterion for the DFM, the function of the rotor voltage versus load torque has been found. This function has been called the regulation function of the motor. The comparison of DFM with the motor with shorted slip-rings shows, that the former has got higher overload factor and can achieve better efficiency and power factors, due to the possible adjustment of the rotor voltage.
