FORUM
NORDA - is the name used in the offer of the northernmost area of Poland, part of the province of Pomerania.
Its biggest centre is Gdynia, the city which - together with over a dozen of neighbouring localities - sees a partnership and joint promotion as a chance for enhancing its potential by way of obtaining the effect of synergy.
The localities have a lot in common: a tradition of many years’ extensive co-operation, their seaside location, and their obvious communicational ties. First of all however they have a common target - a harmonized, sustainable development based on the local resources, well-educated and innovative manpower, as well as advanced technologies.
The projects to be jointly implemented by NORDA are as follows:
- a strategically important investment: the Tri-City Agglomeration North Ring Road;
- integrated municipal services (especially including the waste management, power supply and communication);
- an integrated development policy - mainly through the functional Sub-Regional Zonę - the ‘Logistic Valley’, Małe Trójmiasto Kaszubskie /The Smali Kashubian Tri-City/,
a joint promotion of the group’s economy;
- an integrated educational policy;
- an integrated tourism policy;
