Because the traditional coal ąuality testing process takes a long time, it cannot provide real-time blending guidance. Historically, therefore, the blending process mainly depended on the products’ historie ąuality and experience. As there is large variability in Commercial coal ąuality, this often resulted in commercial coal of inferior ąuality. In the past, the failure ratę was over 30%. After blending guidance by the online coal analyzer, the failure ratę of outbound commercial coal is belo w 10%. The following are some of the CQM test results compared with the laboratory results.
