* PHP 4.0.2+
* Sessions must work
* PHP Upload should be allowed
* PHP Mail function should work
* MySQL 3.23+ (3.23.33+ recommended)


PLEASE READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS VERY CAREFULLY!

INSTALLATION

1. FTP upload
-------------
Upload all subfolders in the folder named "signkorn",
except the folder "readme" to your server.


2. chmod* files and folders
---------------------------

Set permissions as follows:

FOLDERS
avatars chmod 0777 (Folder for Avatars)
smilies chmod 0777 (Folder for Smilies)
templates chmod 0777 (Folder for Templates)

FILES
all files in folder: "templates" chmod 0666
all files in folder: "backups" chmod 0666
mysql.inc.php in folder "includes" chmod 0666
gbkorn.css chmod 0666 (in root folder)

* You can carry out chmod permissions with WS_FTP
available from http://www.ipswitch.com/downloads/


3. Setup MySQL databank tables
------------------------------
Call up the install script in your browser
e.g. http://your.domain.com/signkorn/install.php

Now enter your database details. The install script
will create five tables in your database. You can
define your own table prefix.

VERY IMPORTANT:
After successful installation please delete
the file install.php from your server!


4. Change admin login
---------------------
Now go to your signkorn administration area
and change your admin username and password.
Click on "Configuration" link in the Admin
Navigation.

The initial admin username and password are:
Username: admin
Password: admin

You can access the admin area via
http://your.domain.com/signkorn/admin/
