Organization and activities:
The Department of Phytopathology, together with its Section of Nematology, forms part of the Agri-cultural University. In addition to instruction in plant diseases and crop protection, fundamental and applied research is carried out on the resistance of various crops to pathogenic organisms, on chemo-therapy, on epidemiology and on various other subjects.
Organisation et actiyites:
La Section de phytopathologie, de meme que sa sous-section de ne-matologie, fait partie de l’Universi-te Agronomiąue. La Section organi-se des cours sur les maladies des plantes, la protection des vegetaux, et entreprend en outre des recher-ches sur la resistance de diverses plantes aux organismes pathogenes, sur la chimiotherapie, sur Tepide-miologie et sur divers autres sujets.
