Aims of teaching
The aim of the course is to familiarizc students with the basie tools of mathematical analysis and presentation of using those at the engineer's work. Course also develops the ability to describe and analyze the issues, to look for Solutions and to select appropriate working methods.

Elemcnts of mathematical logie. Rulcs of numeracy. The absolute value. Complex numbers. The concept of fijnetion. Elementary fiinctions. Eąuations and ineąualities. Seąuences. Limits of seąuences. Continuity and limit of fimetion. The notion of the derivative of the function at the point. Diffcrcntial calculus. Application of the derivative. Indefinite and definite integral. The use of

integrals. Matrix calculus. Differential calculus of seyeral yariables._
