Beynalxalq Botanika Baglari Muhafiza Taękilati (BGCI) va Kyu Kral Botanika Baginm Minilliyin Toxum Banki (MSB) torofindan taękil olunmuę kon-fransda BGCI, MSB va “Qafqaz Florasinin Miihafizosi” beynoixalq lahiyosino daxil olan 3 Qafqaz dlkasinin niimayondolori iętirak edib. Azarbaycan konfransda AMEA Botanika institutunun dircktoru, AMEA-nin muxbir UzvU Valida Glizada, AMEA Markazi Nabatat Baginm nadir va nasli kasilmakda olan bitkilar laboratoriyasimn bóyiik elmi ięęisi, b.u.f.d Raęad Salimov, AMEA Botanika institutunun Ali bitkilarin sistematikasi ędbasinin elmi ięęisi, Minillik Toxum Bankinin lahiyasinin Azorbaycan tarafindan alaąolandiricisi Aida Dadaęova ila tomsil olunub. Tadbirda BGCI-m Qlobal Proqramlar direktoru Dr. Suzanne Sharrockun, BGCI-in Regional Proqramlar direktoru Yoachim Gratzfeldin, MSB Beynalxalq Lahiyalar Koordinatoru Clare Trivedinin Bitkilarin Qorunmasinin Qlobal Strategiyasi kontekstinda Qafqaz florasinin in silu va ex silu muhafizasi, prioritetlar va goriilmuę ięlar haqqinda taqdimatlari dinlanilib.

Represenlalives of three Caucasian countries involved in the International project "Conservation of Flora of Caucasus ", Botanic Gardens Conservation International (BGCI) and Millennium Seed Bank (MSB) ofRoyal Botanic Gardens, Kew participated in the Conference organized by BGCI and MSB. Azerbaijan was repre-sented in this Conference by Prof Valida Alizade, Director of the Institute of Botany of ANAS, Dr. Rashad Salimov, senior researcher of the Laboratory of Rare and endangered species of plants of Central Botanical Garden of ANAS, Aida Dadashova, Phd student of the Department of Systematics of Higher Plants of the Institute of Botany and Azerbaijani focal point ofthe project of MSB. In the context of the Global Strategy for Plant Conservation the speeches about in situ and ex situ conservation of the flora of Caucasus, priorities and the carried out work were madę by Suzanne Sharrock, Director of Global Programmes of BGCI, Yoachim Gratzfeld, Director of Regional Programmes of BGCI, Claire Trivedi, Coordinator of International Projects of MSB.

Taqdimatda Azarbaycanda bitki biomtixtalifliyinin qorunmasi va davamh istifadasina dair bir sira ladbirlar qeyd olunub, prioritetlar aęiqlamb. AMEA Markazi Nabatat Bagma introduksiya olunmu? nadir va nasli kasilmakda olan bitkilar, onlarin IUCN (Tabiatin Muhafizasi uzra Beynalxalq ittifaqi) kateqoriyalan tizra statistik gostaricilari ila bagh malumat qeyd olunub. A.Dadaęova MSB-nin “Qafqaz florasinin muhafizasi” beynalxalq lahiyasi ęaręivasinda “Azarbaycanm prioritet yabani bitkilarinin toxumlarinm toplanmasi” tizra 2013-2014-cu illarda hayata keęirilan marhalalar ya alda olunan naticalari taqdim edib.

A number of measures in the field of conservation and sustainable use of plant biodiversity in Azerbaijan and priorities were presented in her speech. | Information about the rare and endangered plants which are introduced to the 1 Central Botanical Garden of ANAS and their statistic indicators on IUCN categories have been noted. A.Dadashova presented the implemented steps andobtainedresults in 20I3-20I4years on ‘‘Collection ofseeds ofthepriority wild plants of Azerbaijan " withitL the internationaI project "Conservation of

Flora of Caucasus " of MSB.
