Confirmation Testing



Patient position: supine or long sitting
with the ankle joint plantar flexed and
inverted, and the toes flexed to
increase tissue tension.



Apply the base of the tails over the
cuneiform bones of the forefoot.



Peel the Kinesio Tex from the paper
liner and place the tape temporarily
on the skin. Do not activate the glue
by rubbing.



Apply each of the tails on the 2nd
through 5th toes.



Maintain tissue tension with ankle
plantar flexion and toe flexion as the
tails are applied.



Apply the base of the Kinesio Tex to
the lateral tibial condyle.
