Pectoral Girdle Extension Test (Wright Test)

Confirmation Testing

Apply the base of the Kinesio Tex to
medial epicondyle of the humerus.

Extend the elbow and wrist. Pull the
skin superiorly and medially while
stabilizing the tape at the proximal
forearm.

Peel the Kinesio Tex from the paper
liner and place the tape temporarily
on the skin. Do not activate the glue
by rubbing.

With the elbow in extension, passively
extend the wrist to increase tissue
tension.

Apply the lateral “y” tail on the palm in
the direction of the second (index)
finger.

Apply the medial “y” tail on the palm
in the direction of the space between
the fourth (ring) and fifth (little)
fingers.
