Of note, and don't go on a panic frenzy, Installation “setuperr.log” will list 38 unproperly signed files. That means that 38 files have been tampered with. There is no cause for alert as these arise from xable.net update pack, the person in charge is unable to sign the files as if he was Microsoft; go figure lol. There are no other installation errors in that file, and all other errors that you discover will also be present on the installation of retail copies of XP. In other words, this copy does not have any more bugs then the retail version. In fact, it has less because it has all the updates, including compatibility updates. This is much faster and secure than retail version. Some tweaks found in “tweaks.reg” may cause a rare problem with certain applications. This is constantly being improved. It can never hurt to ask yourself, “Which tweak is causing my problem?”.

All Crammed on 209MB Iso that produces as little errors as retail, not bad!

Supported Languages:
All included languages and language regions are supported except: Chinese, Japanese, Hebrew, Korean, Thai.
Those languages take too much space.
If your concern is international websites in one of said language, then befriend Google Chrome.

Instructions:
Extract iso from archive.
Burn the iso on any media with imgburn, poweriso etc…with verify option checked.
Configure your bios to start from optical drive, place disk in this drive.
Install is automatic.

VMware Instructions
Micro XP Pro 0.92 is incompatible with “easy install” from Vmware.
When creating, a new virtual machine YOU MUST SELECT “I will install the operating system later”. Then start the virtual machine, click on “Virtual Machine”, “Removable Device”, “CD/DVD, “settings”. Select use iso. Browse to image file, press ok, and restart the virtual machine.
This time, you will avoid having to put in a serial number, and you will also avoid Error Code: 0×80070002 upon first XP startup. You see - easy install bypasses one of my important manual install procedures, that's why you get that error.

I don't want to install XP on C Drive?
You have three options.
Make sure only one storage unit is connected to computer prior to loading XP Setup; optical drive doesn't count.
1. If you see another partition, select that partition.
2. If there are no partitions, then you must create two partitions.
By default when you go to make a partition, XP gives the maximum size.
You need to reduce this size so that you can make a second partition.
Now create you second partition, and select it to install XP onto it.
3. If there is exactly one partition, it is probably taking the whole hard drive, and you need to delete then create two partitions as discussed.
Note: Sandboxie and Foxit Creator will not install properly if you choose alternative drive. Everything else though will be fine.

*The bulk of your security is in your security software (Anti-Virus, Virtualization, Firewall) not in XP updates.
**Terminal Services allows users to connect interactively to a remote computer i.e., netmeeting. It's removal provides security
benefits. Despite it playing no role in the following software, the software fails to install and therefore earn my Award for
Garbage software packages: Toshiba Notebook Utilities, Windows Search 4.0, Norton Antivirus 2003.
***I recommend install Everything via Ninite to search for files; XP search is slow.
****No other removed component affects application compatibility.

Getting Started (after install)
1. Only on first startup, XP will automatically login to Administrator, a passworded account.
You should change the password, if you don't the password henceforth is: DRIVERS
As stated, the administrator account is for drivers, security solutions and system utilities.
The PowerUser account is for games, media, office, and most software.
Should the software require Administrative priviledges, XP is configured to prompt you for that.

2. Install your drivers, including software drivers like .net, directx and so forth with AIO .net shortcut on desktop.
Download and install, pretty much everything except the german language packs.
3. Install all your drivers, Antivirus, Firewall and Virtualization products (i.e., VirtualBox, Deep Freeze etc).
Restart your system.
4. Login to PowerUser. Good to go. Now you can install your other apps, or choose “Portable Apps Platform”
or “Ninite” to install mass volumes of free apps easily. You can also have a look at the included apps.
Note: System Restore has been enabled in this version. So you can safely experiment. If you want to make
your computer more secure, go to Enhanced System Security. Also, look at My Selection.
