Special Precautions

Removal

Installation

1. Ensure timing marks aligned [3] & [4],

2. Fit timing belt to crankshaft sprocket. Fit assembly to crankshaft [8].

3. Fit crankshaft bolt [2], Tighten fingertight.

4. Fit timing belt lower cover [5]. Tighten bolts to 10 Nm.

5. Fit timing belt to remaining sprockets. Ensure belt is taut between sprockets on non-tensioned side.

6. Ensure timing marks aligned [3] & [4].

7. Tum tensioner clockwise using hexagon [9] until belt can just be twisted with finger and thumb through 90⁰ at^[10].

8. Tighten tensioner bolts to 29 Nm [6].

9. Tum crankshaft two turns clockwise. Ensure timing marks aligned [3] & [4],

10. Recheck belt tension [10].

11. If tension not as specified: Slacken tensioner bolts [6]. Adjust position of tensioner. Tighten bolts to 29 Nm.

12. Install components in reverse order of removal.

13. Lock crankshaft pulley/damper. Use tool No.3256. Tighten crankshaft bolt [2]. Tightening torque: 150 Nm + 180° Use tool No.2079 and torque wrench.

NOTĘ: Thistorgue figurę only appiies when using tool No.2079.
