♦ Remove the driveshaft ass’y ® and countershaft assy ©.
CRANKSHAFT REMOVAL
• Remove the crankshatt with the special tool. 09920-13120: Crankcase separating tool
mal wear and damage.
Inspect the bushings and splines for abhormal wear-and dis-coloration.
* Inspect the gearshift cam groove for abnormal wear and damage.
♦ Inspect the gearshift forks and shafts for wear and damage.
CAUTION
Be careful not to damage the thread part ot the crank-shaft.
