The 4^,hedition of the lnnovation for Crisis Management (I4CM) - Registration is now open

Registration is now open for the 4^th edition of the lnnovation for Crisis Management (I4CM), which will take place in Copenhagen, Denmark on 12-13 June 2019, and will focus on Volunteer Management. The event is organised in collaboration with the Danish Red Cross as part of DRIVER+, an EU-funded project aiming at enhancing Europe's resilience by stimulating the development and uptake of innovative Crisis Management Solutions in Europę.

What are the I4CM events?

The I4CM events allow all actors of the European Crisis Management ecosystem (practitioners, experts, solution providers, researchers and policy makers) to gather, exchange experiences and learn about new initiatives in the field of Crisis Management. They feature a varied and interactive programme including workshops, keynote speeches, panel discussions, hands-on trainings and collaborative sessions.

The 4* I4CM in Copenhagen

The 4^thedition of the I4CM will take place at the Kosmopol Centre in Copenhagen and will focus on the topie of volunteer management in a crisis situation with a diverse programme spanning over two days. The first day will feature talks and testimonies on the management, support and care of spontaneous volunteers in the context of large crisis situations as well as a training session on Psychological First Aid in groups supporting teams of volunteers/staff. During the second day sessions will be held presenting human and ICT-based Solutions to support volunteer management and a training session on the framework on Societal Impact. Besides these sessions, a "Market Place" will be central to the event, allowing the participants to discover Crisis Management Solutions and initiatives. Finally, the event will be the occasion to learn morę about other DRIVER+ results and activities, including the fourth Trial to be organised in Styria (Austria) in September 2019, whose focus is also on Volunteer Management.
