Like every year in our school trips are organized. Thanks God that this year wasn't an exception. We left Szczecin behind us exactly on 4th May. Traveling by train is more comfortable than traveling by some old, dirty coach, that's why our guide and teachers decided to go by train. I had a wonderful time in our compartment, I was sitting with my classmates and we had a lot of space to enjoy a comfortable trip until some girls from second class rushed in and the cosy party began. I almost ain't sleep a wink but finally when the girls went out somewhere else I closed my eyes and slept 4 4 hours. In the morning I awoke with Magda in my arms, but what she was doing here, I couldn't remember. We had only a few minutes to pack our luggage because the train had almost pulled in Zakopane. When we were standing on the platform and getting wet , some man came for us and guided to the old, dirty and almost wrecked coach. We packed our clobber to that horrible monster and went to our pension. We were allocated to a large four person room with bathroom and toilet. The same day we managed to tour Krupówki Street and went up by funicular to Gubałówka peak. After having dinner the whole group was tired and we didn't have strength for frolicking. Next day I was awoken by my friend who was having a shower I followed his footsteps and did the same. During the breakfast we found out what we were about to do. An hour later we were ridding towards Kuźnice from where we started out hiking. It took us exactly one hour and 30 minutes to get to Murowniec shelter. Weather conditions weren't ideal for hiking. It was raining and sometimes snowing but mainly hailing. When we got dry our cloths a bit the guide asked us whether we wanted to reach Kasprowy peak. Only 15 daredevils applied. Our climbing took us almost 2 hours because of thick layer of snow. Finally when we managed to get the top it turned out that shelter was close and we wouldn't able to buy any hot drinks. Only a small recess was open where there were a few warm radiators. We took three or four pictures and afterwards we started getting down. My friend had found a plastic cloak to get down a little bit faster. We begged our carers whether we could use it and when they agreed me and Kuba started going downhill. We were in the shelter in about 30 minutes faster than the rest of the group.
The following day we went for Dears rocks, they were situated in a fantastic place because from them you could see whole panorama of the Tatras. Of course we took a lot of pictures. During our last day in Zakopane we visited Tatra's museum and precisely Krupówki Street. We bought some stuffs like cola, chips, candy-bare for train trip toward Szczecin.
For whole Saturday we were cleaning ours rooms, and in the evening unfortunately we had to leave Zakopane. We came back to Szczecin on Sunday morning. I didn't get enough sleep cos' there hadn't been a place for me and for the whole night I had been on standby.
Six months of hard working paid off
