BIG CITY(1)

I was born in a medium-size town and I think that living in a big or middle city is more comfortable and exciting as living in a small town. Of course, big city offers better education and it is easier to find a good and interesting job. But on the other hand, a big city dose not have such an atmosphere in the home as a small town does. Many things assist in life in a big city but life is not easier in a big population. For example: the huge problem is heavy traffic. Many streets are crowded all day long. cars and factories emit fumes into the atmosphere, polluting the air. Furthermore, it is difficult to find a car park in the center. In addition: the crime rate in most cities is very high. Some people never go out in the evening because they are afraid of being robbed or abused. But on the other hand, in a big city there are many facilities such as swimming pools, tennis courts or gym halls where people may practice their favourite sports. There are lot of good shops and department stores where shopping can be done easily and quickly. What is the most important: young people are in the better situation: they can learn in a lot of primary schools, secondary schools and after that they can study at university. Furthermore they can go to clubs, discos and they have more opportunities to meet someone. But I live in a small town and I am sure that my life here is quiet and interesting.
